Brisbane Osteopathy
Brisbane Osteopaths love to move! Osteopaths help people move more freely, without pain. Combining a knowledge of biomechancis and hands- on treatment, Osteopaths seek to find the cause of your aches, pains and movement limitations. We all come from sporting backgrounds and have suffered our fair share of injuries.

We understand first hand the pain, disappointment and pressure and determination to get back to full fitness. Many of us became Osteopaths for this precise reason. An Osteopath can help you do this. Osteopaths focus on how to improve your body's ability to move without restriction and pain. With detailed movement analysis and hands on treatment, Osteopaths will get you back to full training and life sooner.
Services
Brisbane Osteopathy treats people. Young, middle aged and older, if you are feeling below par and want to improve your physical and therefore mental well being, consult with an Osteopath at Brisbane Osteopathy by ringing 07 3846 3224. Our aim is to allow you to achieve your goals by ensuring your body can keep up with your mind.
The biomechanics, or way your body moves, is a complex inter relationship of muscles, joints and ligaments. Every muscle and joint and ligament has an order of functioning for you to walk, run, sit and move without pain. If all of these are working normally, then movement should feel effortless. When a body is working perfectly, movement should use very little energy.
Sport is part of many children's lives and with sport often come injuries or unexplained pain. Osteopaths assess, diagnose and treat these pains and injuries. If referral to another practitioner is required, this will be facilitated by your Osteopath. Osteopathy for children, provided by Brisbane Osteopathy, is very gentle, with babies often sleeping through treatment.
Getting older shouldn't involve giving up what you have always loved to do. Okay, if it is skydiving and your knees are bone on bone, then we might have a challenge but generally I'm sure you have noticed, any ache or pain is attributable to arthritis or something that makes you feel old. Often these comments are said without even looking or feeling the area involved.
Let's be real. Nobody naturally thinks about their posture. Why would you unless you have pain. So, let's work on the premise that you have some pain, you think something about your work is causing it and you'd like to know what you can do (probably without spending much if any money - like us all) to stop it hurting.
