Dr Thomas Choi has graduated from both The Bachelor of Pharmacy, and The Bachelor of Dentistry (Hons) at the University of Sydney.
Here at Smiles First Dental we believe each patient should completely understand the current condition of their teeth. All our dental units are installed with a intraoral cameras, allowing us to precisely photograph any issues we may find inside your mouth, this allows us to educate, explain and show you up close exactly what is happening.
Regular six-monthly examinations are the best form of dental prevention. This way we are able to pick up any problems early, allowing the most options to provide you with a healthy and beautiful smile. Untreated or long-standing dental disease can lead to decay, dental infections, pain, discolouration and bad breath.
We believe starting young, so that your child has the best oral hygiene and habits from an early age. Our aim is to set them up with great oral health and a confident smile for the rest of their lives. We recommend introducing kids to a friendly paediatric dentist when their first teeth appear or by the time they turn one year old.

I was served by Doctor Thomas. I would like to mention that he is so understanding and he does his job very well! I had pain in my wisdom tooth and I went there today to get a solution. He said getting an extraction would be the best way and handled my case with much care as I was very scared. He is an asset to the company!

Dentist Rebecca and Sarah were such nice friendly dentist and they made our experiences an unforgettable one, this 2 dentist in my opinion naturally posses impeccable customer service however I found Thomas Choi a bit strange and rough, a bit heavy handed if I may say, my entire head was vibrating when he was grinding my teeth thank goodness I had anesthesia, he seemed to be rushing a bit and I do not think he did a good job when I saw him and not to mention he also rob me with a substantial amount of gap to pay for just a filling considering I got corporate cover for our private insurance. Literally the best dentist I have been to. I had an emergency and needed my wisdom teeth pulled out asap. I called and they just happened to be free to see me. Booked in a few days later and bam wisdom teeth out and quality service. I only found this place as I was ripped off by another dentist and I couldn't be more happy with the price and service. Wonderful smiles and friendly caring attitudes are customary with the staff at Smiles First Dental Northmead. Dr. Choi and Dr. Duke along with their teams are very customer focused and highly proficient. They spend time with you as a patient. Their ability to listen and then form accurate diagnosis, including determining different treatment options is impressive. The treatment options were clearly explained and the service delivered at my convenience. With my new crowns and bridges, I can smile again. Thank you Dr. Duke.
