Was recommended by a friend when my car suddenly started making some concerning noises and my usual mechanic was backed up due to the pandemic. They were able to see me right away and explained how they would go about diagnosing the problem and everything. Adam called me later to confirm the issue, explain how they'd fix it, and gave me a quote.
I was able to pick up the car the same day I'd dropped it off and was so appreciative to be able to be seen so quickly. Can't give much feedback on price but for me it was fair given they'd fixed my car short notice and so quickly.
Will return again and

The buyer of my BMW SUV needed a RWC before it could be transferred into his name. Extremely honest mechanical repair shop. My car was in great condition and they didn't try and tell me my car needed extra repairs. The RWC was done without any repairs or replacing any parts. I totally recommend them for all mechanical repairs. Well done. I'll be back

ADM is fantastic. For years I struggled to find a decent mechanic. Someone I can trust to do what is needed, no more. Someone who follows through on the rare occasion things don't go to plan. Adam at ADM has been unbelievable. He even got me out of a sticky position when someone broke my car enroute to a family funeral.

Not affordable or punctual from my experience. Had my car repaired back in 2016. I have since moved from Melbourne and studied mechanics only to realise how ripped off I was in the past by ADM motors. Charged $5000 to change a ring gear and a few other basic maintenance costs like spark plugs, oil change etc. The ring gear was a valid repair but I don't believe the little extras were really needed. Car ran fine. I totally understand how big of a job the ring gear is to replace but it should of been more around $3000 max for everything not $5000. It's on the extreme end cost wise. We live in Devonport and have children at university in Melbourne. Have made use of Adam now on 3 occasions to attend to their vehicles. He communicated issues with me on a regular basis and kept me up to date about the process. Last issue was due to a faulty part that they replaced the previous time (5 months ago) and he did repair at no cost. Honest about his accountability in this matter - (someone else could have told me a different story and charged me again and I would not have known)

I have 16 year old car. Adam has kept it in perfect running condition.over the many years that I have been taking it to him. I can still beat off much newer cars at those particularly Victorian intersections where there are fewer lanes on the other side of the intersection.
I have found him meticulously honest. He is not the cheapest and the yard itself is run down but the service is A1. I've never known him to talk up a service to up the cost and he has always responded to requests to keep the service to the minimum needed to keep the car safe (but not perfect).

I've been using ADM for about 5 years now, and have no complaints at all.
Great service, knowledgeable mechanics, excellent communication and reasonable prices.
I even pop in if I have a small issue, and always leave sorted out with a friendly, "no charge".
It's great to have a mechanic you can rely on and trust.
Quite sure Adam and his team will be looking after our cars well into the future.

I have used ADM about 5-6 times across 3-4 years.
Your car will come out of here better than it went in. It will get done on time and the communication is excellent. I can't say I ever feel like it was cheap but then 1. I'm not expert, 2. I don't shop around and 3. I bring in a series of old fairly neglected vehicles which sometimes need creative solutions (when manufacturers parts, for example, don't exist). So it's great they never say "it can't be done" and I always know pretty much what I'm in for - so my displeasure is coming out $1000 lighter on most occasions - not really the fault of ADM
