We are a family owned business that takes pride in our workshop and our team of mechanics. Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaros, Dodge Chargers, Dodge Challengers, Chevrolet Corvettes, Buicks & Cadillacs. Tony "Gee" as he is humbly known, has been a mechanic for well over 30 years. He started his apprenticeship in the upmarket areas of Melbourne being Toorak, South Yarra and Malvern.
TGS carries out vehicle servicing to manufacturers specifications, using only quality oils & parts and our workshop is fully equipped for all minor and major repairs to maintain the life of your vehicle. We also have our own in-house Auto Electrician for all cars, modern day & classics. We offer a personalised service, with loyalty and safety being our top priority when servicing our clients' vehicles.

Not only do we buy and sell classic cars, we are also fully qualified modern and classic car mechanics. Tony "Gee" has been a mechanic for well over 30 years. Conveniently located only 4 minutes from Vicroads, get your roadworthy at TGS and head straight to Vicroads to get it registered. We will always consult with you, before undertaking any works that may be required for your vehicle to comply to the required standards. As a convenience, we also have a courtesy car available while your vehicle is being serviced or repaired.
TGS can assist you with your own Personal Import to Australia from the USA. From inspections, to shipping, to registration, we do the lot! We are also happy to give you our opinion on the vehicle you are buying and assist you with the purchase. Have your car delivered to your door or assist you with registering your vehicle & club registration.

We were treated very poorly by this establishment. Waited a month for a quote. Once we received it, it have involved work that was unnecessary and they would not remove it from a list. We have tried to contact them few times and have ended up taking our car back. Poor customer service, inflated prices. I do not recommend waisting your time with these people. Madam on a phone needs to learn some manners.

TGS is the only place to go if you are looking at buying a Muscle or classic car. Their service department is fantastic. Tony G's knowledge of all cars is amazing. His mechanics also have a passion and dedication to all the cars they work on. I myself own an American muscle car, and from the time I purchased it in the States, Kathy kept me up to date on the progress, shipping and delivery of the car to their workshop. TGS did all the work, on the vehicle, to get it roadworthy, and ready to pick up from their workshop. I have taken the car several times back for upgrades and modifications, the pricing

I looked everywhere for my first American classic.
Nowhere compared to the great advice and service I got from Tony,Kathy and the TGS team.
Not to mention the awesome car I got from them.
The whole process was so easy and smooth and their ongoing support has been amazing!!
So hard to find a great mechanic like this these days.
I highly recommend TGS to anyone looking for a good,honest,reliable mechanic that really knows cars.

I always take my old 67 Galaxie to Tony and the team. They know their stuff and nothing is a problem. They are hands down the most honest, thorough and trustworthy mechanics I’ve ever been to and I know my car is in safe hands with Tony. Their workshop is super clean, organised and the mechanics know their stuff – this all equates to a no BS thorough job which saves you time and money in the long run. I’m new to Australia so having Tony and the team there who I know will respect and look after my pride and joy and treat as if it was their own car is a massive weight off my mind when I drop
