Showing ourselves the same internal process, self-caring, self-kindness, self-compassion that we would express towards another. Self-compassion is good for the soul, our own positive mental health and well-being. Valuing ourselves in a favourable manner. Being respectful of who we are and what we believe in.

Having faith in ourselves and in our ability to make positive changes and decisions in our lives. The ability to tap into our own thoughts and feelings, beliefs and emotions, understanding what motivates us to be who we are. We are then able to identify areas of improvement, build on our areas of strength and make long lasting positive change.

Hello, I'm Pauline Dudley, and I am a qualified Professional Counsellor working in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley Region of New South Wales. I am registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), and I am also a registered NDIS provider.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a way of providing support for Australians under the age of 65, who live with a disability, including psychosocial disability. The NDIS supports people with disabilities to set goals, build skills and capability so they may live a more productive life, participate in the community and access employment and study.

Anyone, as unexpected events can happen. Life changes can take place at any time, in the short term or long. Issues may also surface from our past.
