Had the opportunity to get together with family members at the Cleveland Sands Hotel on the New Years Public holiday, fantastic to see so many people enjoying the chance to meet up in the early stages of 2022.
Strict Covid-19 protocols are in place, QR scanning is required & only double vaccinated people are allowed onto the premises.
Reservations are strongly recommended as this hotel has a wonderful range of amenities to choose from.
There is outdoor & indoor dining available, plenty of room to cater for everyones needs.
You can order your meals from the table or have one of the friendly

Had a birthday my my mother tonight and had the whole family attending. I was greeted by friendly faces all round and were welcomed to a table. Our food was incredible, I now consider the Sands to have one of the best steaks in town for a reasonable price! - even though it was well done it was still juicy. I was served by both Kaiya and Mire who were both welcoming and were well paced in serving our table! We had an amazing night and would strongly recommend the sands as a dinner and drinks spot for any and all.

Highly recommend! We were having our Christmas party it a venue at the harbour when a big storm hit and the power went out. We were left with a large group of hungry guests and no where to go. Fortunately for… us we were welcomed into the Sands on an extremely busy night with a lot of Christmas celebrations well under way by a lovely lady called Deb who looked after all of our requests. We all enjoyed a delicious meal and a fun atmosphere. Thank you Deb, you saved the night for us and we are very grateful!

Debs and her team were complete life savers when I had accidentally booked my sons post graduation lunch for the wrong day. 🤪
She was totally accommodating and managed to secure us a table and everything remained on schedule. Really enjoyed our time celebrating here with family and friends. That much we forgot to get photos! Great portion sizes and very tasty steak sandwiches. Thankyou 🥂

Stopped by for lunch after show at Redlands performing arts center with a group of friends. mixed feelings with the group for the meals and desserts My mains barramundi fish was tasty but the portion was extremely small at $29 the desert said chewy brittle something and there was nothing Brittle and chewy to the desert. Service excellent.. just don’t order fish from mains

We have been regular patrons here for a few years. Over the last few months we have felt the service, menu and value has been declining. However our experience tonight has left us very disappointed. One of our party ordered the grilled barramundi which at $29 would not have served a child or a senior let alone an adult. We brought it to the staff’s attention but all they could say was sorry. When asked if they were prepared to do something about it we were given a flat NO. Very disappointing and will be dining elsewhere from now on:(

We booked a table over the phone and noted we wanted it to be inside as we had older people coming and didn’t want them to get cold. When we arrived the manager said we where seated outside and wouldn’t listen… when we tried to explain we should have been inside. Very rude. We then got moved in side after a few people had finished meals from inside. Once inside we got served the food without knives or forks and had to get up and ask for some. One of our meals didn’t get put through at all so one person didn’t eat. Then ordered cakes from the glass window and waited
