Services
Sutherland Osteopathy began when principal Kerrin Murnane embraced business ownership after working with some excellent osteopaths in their own practices. Now entering its tenth year, Kerrin's passion for starting Sutherland Osteopathy - using Osteopathy to support as many people as possible in their quest for optimal health - is just as strong.
Together, our team are committed to helping clients achieve holistic wellness. As well as all completing their Bachelors and Masters degrees to attain their registration, all of the Osteopaths at Sutherland Osteopathy are members of Osteopathy Australia, our national professional body. This requires us to consistently uphold high standards of professional conduct along with evidence-based practice and safety in all areas.
Osteopathy is a hands on form of manual therapy with a particular focus on the musculoskeletal system. Osteopaths believe that structure has a significant impact on function, and vica versa. Osteopaths focus on how the musculoskeletal system, nervous system, gastrointestinal system and circulation function as a holistic unit to promote mobility and improve health.
The initial consult goes for 45-60 minutes. On arrival you will be asked to complete a form regarding your medical and health history. Your Osteopath will then take you into the consultation rooms to continue gathering information that is relevant to your presentation. A thorough examination will then be performed to allow a diagnosis to be made.

There is no where else better to help for both osteopathy and massage and over the years I have been to many for both. They are very trustworthy and honest about what they can do and will not string you along or tell you to come back unless you really need to. My results have always been very pleasing. They are true professionals.

Hi all, firstly id like to share that i suffer from neck and back pain and stiffness. I have had it for years. To find relief ive had many years of chiropractic adjustments, physiotherapy and massage which only gave me minor relief of pain. I had been recommended Sutherland osteopathy by another very happy patient, and from just one single treatment with Kerrin I had an indescribable relief of pain. I had been so stiff from pain that when her magic hands adjusted my tight spot my body felt so relieved that the tension was finally treated corrected, I spontaneously had tears of happiness run out
