Yunbenun, as Magnetic Island was known by the island's traditional inhabitants, had a transient population well before Europeans explored the area. They were known to have seasonal camps at a number of bays and traveled between the island and mainland using canoes. The blonde slim lady who works for Best of Magnetic has the most rude disgusting attitude I’ve ever experienced in the tourism industry. If you’re visiting magnetic island I would avoid getting a holiday rental here just so you don’t have to have a run in with this employee.

We hire a car from them every year when we stay on the island on our annual month long NQ holiday and will be hiring again during 2022 on extra island holidays.
great cars,much better prices than any other hire co. on the island and great staff every year , also much more convenient asa they are located right across from the ferry,saves ALOT of mucking around

The 'Best of Magnetic' agency lease out apartment 1011 in the Peppers on Blue resort at Magnetic Island. As repeat visitors to this resort, this apartment was a family friendly 3 bedroom facility. The agency and owner were very understanding and accommodating to any feedback we provided, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The location is easy to the ferry, jetty and public transport around the island. The swimming pool is directly off the personal patio, which the children loved. The extra large bath in the Master bedroom is a relaxing spot at the end of the day with a glass

Were lucky enough to come up to Magnetic island from Melbourne and thought service of Best of Magnetic was fantastic. They communciated clearly and regularly before we came, particularly with COVID 19 floating around. Staff were friendly on arrival and they drove us to our accomodation.
Would have booked a car with them, best prices on the Island but they were all booked out. Unfortunatley only option was Isle Hire, big mistake.

We stayed at the house on The Beach at Horse Shoe Bay and they failed to mention in their description about the fact that the high tide would completely dictate our holiday. Complete waste of time and money as we were trapped inside majority of our stay. We were there for a week & with kids it was NOT. A pleasant time
