Services
Optimal SP clinicians are able to provide rehabilitation programs to a comprehensive outpatient caseload in our services to Advance Rehabilitation Centre. We also work with the team at ENT Care Sydney in managing voice and swallowing disorders. Valid treatment programs need to extend beyond the clinic environment to consider all aspects of the communication or swallowing context.
Alison has worked as a speech pathologist with adults in acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and community settings for 30 years. She has broad experience with clients who have acquired communication and swallowing problems arising from a wide range of conditions. Particular interests include working with clients in aged care facilities and in the acute hospital setting.
Sam graduated from a Master of Speech Language pathology at Macquarie University in 2014. Since that time she has worked in rural, regional, and metropolitan areas and provided services across a range of acute, rehabilitation, aged care, and community settings. Sam has experience with assessment and therapy of a range of communication and swallow disorders.
Polly comes from a senior role with Enable NSW where she has published and presented widely on communication technologies. She has extensive public and private clinical background in all neurogenic communication and swallowing management. On top of that Felicity is just a very nice person! Polly is based at our fancy new site in Advance Rehab Centre in addition to providing mobile and Tele-services.
Antonella has over 17 years experience working as a Speech Pathologist with adults with acquired brain injuries. Since graduating from the University of Sydney in 2003, Antonella has worked extensively in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
She most recently worked as a Senior Speech Pathologist at Westmead Hospital within the community brain injury rehabilitation service and traumatic brain injury has been a strong area of interest for many years.Antonella has worked across the continuum of care - from acute hospitals to home-based, community roles and this breadth of experience has enabled a wholistic and client-centred view of the individual and their rehabilitation journey.
