Parks Medical Centre is owned and operated by Dr. Michael Ghan, a Family Doctor who has cared for patients in the Elizabeth Park, South Australia area for over 20 years. Parks Medical Centre has since grown to include Dr Martha Karuga and Dr Shamin Walgampola. Enquiries are welcome by patients, health providers and medical representatives.

Doctors will endeavour to take your call but in some instances, the doctor may be consulting and reception staff will take your message and the doctor concerned will endeavour to call back within 24hrs. All queries for results or specialist notes, doctors will require an appointment due to privacy and confidentiality issues, will not be discussed over the telephone.

The medical centre is 'Top Tier'. Dr. Michael Ghan who practices and operates the medical centre, is highly organised in comprehensive and the administration of treatment. He approaches each and every case with diligence, carefulness and attention. Michael has decades in experience. He will help you, if you allow him. You can be immensely helped by this doctor!

Worst ever wait times. Had a 5:20pm appt, got told to txt dr when we are there and wait in car until told to come in for appt. Got a text saying HI at 6pm.. i asked do we come in or wait in car.. they said YES... i go in and theres 3 others in the room.. inside waiting for a further 30 minutes and all i hear is 2 people talking and laughing for a good 20 minutes.
Worst doctors clinic ive ever been to. With a screaming toddler in the car and then the waiting room for more then 1.5 hrs is just rediculous. Highly recommend going else where. Just had to walk out due to terrible setting.

Can be a long wait, but definitely worth it. We see Dr Karuga who treats patients holistically not just “here is a sick note and a script...next pls”

The Drs. Are great, but the waiting times are freaking insane. Been here since 6:20pm for a 6:40 appointment. It is now 8:15 and I'm still waiting and still loads of people in front of me. They should really warn you when you book that the waits are so long, or call you before your appointment time and let you know there's a wait or something. Am literally here just for a birth control injection which would take five minutes...been waiting two hours for it.

Best doctor in the State! Cares too much... has saved my life many times as im sick with a syndrome and doctor ghan is wat saved my life!
