H & U remind their tenants three times a week if their rent has fallen behind by text, phone call and email. Once a tenant is 7 days behind in rent they are issued a Remedy breach to fix the arrears. H & U take the ingoing and outgoing inspection very seriously. In going reports are typed outlining all aspect of the property, with pictures showing the true state of the property prior to handover to the tenant.
In Most cases your Lender will require the property to have building insurance prior to settlement. Content insurance can be attached to the building insurance although good landlord insurance will cover you for content insurance. Before taking out landlord insurance cover we recommend you find out what the policy cover.

Sick of this real estate company. Every inspection gets cancelled on the day an hour before inspection is due and always seems like a lame excuse rather than a real excuse. We treat this house like it's our own even doing things that should be organised by the real-estate like lopping tress that are annoying our neighbours and removing all the branches ourselves. Yet we get stuffed around every inspection.

I thought I had dealt with below average real estates in the past, but boy was I wrong. This is the most unprofessional “business” I have ever dealt with. Being told one thing at inspections and another over the phone. Being told I had previously received information regarding maintenance but no response as to when since I had no record of said correspondence. Disconnected phone numbers that are sent in their own emails. Broken links on the website meaning maintenance wasn’t even acknowledged until we followed up. I honestly feel for anyone who has to deal with these children.

Absolutely disgusted in the treatment within the entirety of the business. I don’t know how they are still operating, slandering people -defamation laws, taking peoples bond away BEFORE the bond clean was done. Also made a bond claim without an exit report. Honestly I could go on but I’m writing this review so people know to never use you. the treatment myself -with my 8 month old baby -my mum who is sick with an immunity disorder and who is in WA with her very sick mum. We have been nothing but helpful in trying to rectify the situation we have all correspondence and evidence. I truely hope

Extremely Poor,
We rented for 18 Months & never had an in person inspection from them, On the exiting they asked us to return the keys then did the exit inspection & told us it wasn't clean enough.
It clearly was just them pushing to keep our bond & get their own bond cleaner in. They took photos of a single dead fly on the floor and dust on the door jam of the front door and were generally excessive about it.
They also are blaming us for damage to a water tank pipe that was like that from when we moved in & want a their own plumber to repair it.
They want all communication via email & wont

Apparently deleted my partners review. This is a horrible real estate. We recently broke lease, we asked if we could instead just end our lease before the new one that we had signed before our circumstances changed, was due to start, as it seemed it would be the best option for everyone, especially since they wanted to drastically increase our rent - by $30 a week. Instead, they wanted us to break lease. They did nothing to mitigate our expenses, took a week to list the property for rent which they did with no photos and a description written by a toddler. They also increased the rent by $90 at

I would give a no star if possible. I was a landlord. These guys are really poor communicators. It took them months to find a tenant for my 2 properties (that's a lot of lost rent). When I chased up I learnt that one of my properties had a leak which had caused black mould (they neglected to tell me despite it happening over a month prior).
When they finally found tenants, they rented one of my places to itinerant workers who stayed briefly, moved to another state and sub-let the place (so they could work on their vetting process too). It didn't feel like they were there to look after the landlord

I'd give them no star if possible, their responses were slow or no existent, they were always asking for email and never spoke to me, dispite never answering their email. They took all our bond because the bond cleaner we paid $1400 didn't do a good job but they didn't get him back, he was recommended by them. They stuffed up our payment and said we owed money but then found out we didn't. They never showed us the water bill from unity water just how much we owed, which was a large amount so I questioned it. They were really the worst real estate I've ever rented though

Definitely do not recommend this Real Estate.
They've ended our lease "without grounds" and advised us the reason is"the owners personal circumstances have changed"... Turns out they just wanted to increase the rent by $30 a week and readvertised. We would have strongly considered paying the extra rather than having to uproot our toddler and move while I'm heavily pregnant and due with our 2nd child just 6 weeks after the lease end date. They didn't even ask!
Apparently 6 years of paying rent 4 weeks in advance and with not 1 negative
