Services
Vaccination is a vital part of preventive medicine, from new born babies through to adulthood. At Kingsgrove Medical Centre we have one immunisation practitioner nurse, who together with our doctors provide this service to our patients. Planning travel can be an exciting time however it is vital for you to prepare and be adequately immunised prior to starting your holiday.
It is a policy of Kingsgrove Medical Centre that Medical results (both imaging and pathology) will not be provided over the phone without the prior consent of the treating doctor. We have in place an automated system, whereby once your results have been reviewed by the treating doctor you will recieve a message regarding the outcome.
If you have a change of name please attend the surgery with the appropriate documentation. The email address listed below is not regularly monitored. No medical advice will be given to patients via email. There is a risk that important clinical information sent to this address may be missed or not picked up, particularly time critical information.

I recently visited Kingsgrove Medical practise and saw Dr Akaash Goyal for an ongoing issue and was very happy with the entire experience. It was easy to book online, the receptionist was friendly and they are operating in compliance with the Covid regulations.
Dr Goyal was very patient and didn’t rush the appointment. He printed out more information for me and explained the treatment plan well. I’m very happy with the service I received and would highly recommend Dr Goyal.

Maybe the third horrible experience last week after finding out I have scoliosis as I have been displaying the signs for years now and it hadn't been recently confired by my chiro I had been visiting every 2 days. I explain this and he gets wound up as soon as I mention 'clearance' as I haven't able to start work due to this. He shifted his angle from care to not wanting any further responsibility vaguely mentioning what can be done before interrogating me with questions with no real aim just rambling at point. There was zero care - I specifically at a point told him to drop the idea of the clearance

After moving to the area, we were recommended Dr Goyal and have had a very positive experience. Given I work full-time, I appreciate that Dr Goyal takes appointments early hours and/or on the weekend. He is very knowledgeable, extremely caring, has a polite and calm manner and is willing to answer any concerns/questions. We are very grateful to have found a trustworthy doctor.
The receptionist staff are also very polite, helpful and competent. They make booking an appointment stress-free.

Extremely disappointed with my partners treatment today. We recently moved into the area so needed a new GP. Given the reviews we said we'd give it a go.
Unfortunately this doctor seems a bit incompetent. My partner has a long history of severe asthma and uses various inhalers. The doctor just couldn't shut up about covid. Then gave us antihistamines for his asthma. Nor would he give us a mask excemption after he was told about the two asthama attacks from this week alone.
So unfortunately we'll just be making the 45min drive to our old GP who not so clueless or covid obsessed. Sad to see a doctor

Dr Akaash Goyal has been our Family GP since 2019, he is very professional and has a genuine interest in caring and providing support and advice. My daughter has been seeing Dr Akaash since she was 2 months old, she is now 2 years old, and he is very kind and patient with her. All the receptionist are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr Akaash.
