Peninsula Kung Fu Health & Fitness
Wing Chun Kung Fu will teach you how to defend yourself, give you better reflexes and co-ordination, improve self confidence and self discipline, and relieve stress. Peninsula Kung Fu will teach your child to be confident, self aware, respectful and disciplined. Wing Chun Kung Fu helps children become more active, energised and mentally stimulated in a supportive environment.

We create a safe experience that encourages all students to learn in a friendly and supportive environment with ladies only classes so you can focus on your own goals. The Wing Chun wooden dummy is the most popular in martial arts today. In practice, students are able to improve distance, timing, speed and accuracy while building on advanced techniques through feel, flow and efficiency of movement.
Services
Established in 2005, Peninsula Kung Fu Health & Fitness Mornington teaches traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu, widely regarded throughout the world as the most effective of all martial arts styles. Every year our team of Instructors have the privilege of teaching hundreds of adults and kids students the invaluable life skills that ultimately improves health, wellbeing and personal development.
Glenn Shand, Chief Instructor at Peninsula Kung Fu, is a consummate teacher of martial arts and an expert practitioner of traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu. In 1995, Sifu Glenn commenced training the art of traditional Wing Chun directly under the guidance of Grandmaster William Cheung and Sifu Bruce Corles of the World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association.
I am pleased to write a business testimonial for Peninsula Kung Fu, who I have known for 12 months, in my capacity as Head of Faith & Wellbeing at Balcombe Grammar School. Peninsula Kung Fu has provided martial arts services to Balcombe Grammar School students for a number of years as part of our Active Community Program.
You begin with the Sil Lim Tao Form in three parts when training as a white, light blue and medium blue sash. You then move on to the Advanced Sil Lim Tao Form as a dark blue sash. Moving onto light, medium and dark brown sashes you'll learn the Chum Kil Form. As a light green sash you'll move onto Bil Gee.
There is often confusion and angst around the time of grading and having your chief instructor guide you on if you are ready will be of great benefit. Invitations will be given before revision begins in March, July or November. You can postpone your invitation to grade should you wish to, and as long as you continue to train you will be ready for any of the following gradings.

Been training here throughout the stop/start of the 6 lockdowns in Melbourne the last couple of years. Really enjoy training here, the Trainers in Sifu, Sarah, Gary, Shaun and Brodie (sorry if names are spelt incorrectly) are great at their craft and make for lessons to be fun and creating a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment while getting fit, healthy and learning the system of Wing Chun Kung Fu. It really makes you think and use your mind and it's amazing for your Mental Health. Thanks Guys and look forward to the next 12 months and beyond.

Although I have not long started learning and training at this club or Kung Fu for that matter. I am learned in the history and fundamental’s of Kung Fu. No not via Brice Lee but more so via an interest in Buddhism. I have been studying the philosophies and mental potential we as humans can achieve from a young age. I am finally learning the movements of Wing Chun where in themselves adds to longevity. I can say after spending resent days at Penninsula Kung Fu Health & Fitness I have ticked the boxes that are important to me. Friendly people. Great atmosphere. Learning at my own pace
