U.S. Kids Golf Local Tours are created to provide boys and girls, ages 5 to 14, the opportunity to advance their skills in the game in age-appropriate competition. The emphasis of these tournaments is on fun and enjoyment. A Local Tour consists of six to eight one-day tournaments, including a season-ending Local Tour Championship which are played on Sundays at various high-quality courses across each State.
Medals are awarded at the completion of each tournament to the first 5 place getters and players earn awards and points for each tournament. These points can allow them to qualify for various national and International Tournaments through playing in their Local Tour. The pinnacle of these is the U.S Kids Golf World Championships which are held in Pinehurst U.S.A every August.

Looking for a great place for a young player to get started in golf, or for a new coach, we can help. All U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coaches participate in day-long, research-based training and pass tests from both our organization and the Positive Coaching Alliance. These coaches know how to incorporate game-based learning so players can learn and improve in the game while having fun!
The program is for professionals who seek to improve their knowledge in all aspects of youth golf that can be utilized to enhance a current program or provide the basis for establishing a new program. Certification will help coaches increase their market visibility and professional value. U.S. Kids Golf holds a unique position in the golf industry as one of the only companies to focus solely on youth golf.
Since 2004, the Top 50 Kids Teacher Award has honored the elite professionals who have dedicated their careers to developing junior golf in their communities and who are known for their overall excellence and commitment to serving youth. These experienced individuals have committed themselves to help kids develop a love for the game of golf that lasts well beyond their junior days.

Recently I ordered a new golf set and a sand wedge for my son. I confirmed the correct club size with their customer service prior to placing the order. It arrived today and it was too small, go figure. Customer rep would not send me a a return label because it was the customer’s fault. That means I had to pay for return shipping on top of the already overpriced clubs Made In China. I didn’t mind paying a premium because I thought the brand is Made in the US as in US Kids Golf. Next time, I’ll just go to Dicks and/or Academy Sports for less hassle.

We love U.S. Kids Golf! They are the best golf association for kids 12 and under.
Their tournaments make the kids feel like they are “Mini-Tour Pros” and they are an awesome place for the kids to gain tournament experience as early as 5 years old.
My daughter has been playing in US Kids tournaments since she was 6 and she loves them…especially the Regionals & The World Championship in Pinehurst.

It's just really disappointing that, for the boys tournaments, they set the courses up so that only the biggest and strongest boys can reach the greens in the amount their supposed to. If your son is average size or smaller, he will be behind by 10 shots or more before the tournament even starts. They should probably be named "The Biggest U.S. Kids Golf" instead. With the girls, it's different though.
