This hotel requires a good make over !
This dull dreary hotel hasn't been updated for several decades. The gaming room has had a small improvement but hardly noticeable. C"mon management... Pull your finger out, surely the gaming room generates enough income to renovate& make this venue look: & feel up to date & more comfortable to relax in !!!!

We chose this venue because of the kids area and specified in our booking that we would like to sit close to the playground. Nothing on the website or in our booking confirmation indicated the closure of the playground due to covid restrictions so we were disappointed to see that nothing was available for the kids to play on upon our arrival. I had preconceptions that the food wouldn't be the greatest, but once again the play area was the draw card. Sure enough the pumpkin salad came with pumpkin the size of a closed fist and as hard as rocks... my sister had asked to substitute the goats cheese

Great meals during the week here down at Chatstone while in Victoria for work
Since everything has turned in to chopstick and eating by hand food in the eastern suburbs it fantastic to have western food on the plate for a change which does not trip from oil and overpower the environmental conditions with spices hard to get out of your clothing
I be here again on my next trip to Victoria from the food paradise South Australia

The Matthew Flinders put on an outstanding feast for our buffet, we had our wedding reception there and it was fantastic! The event manager, Cam, could not do enough for us. The venue manager, Pat, was also awesome! And of course the staff doing the check ins for the accommodation were so lovely! We booked the Longitude room, enough for our 80+ guests, our DJ, A to Z Wedding Services, our huge LOVE letters, chair covers, sashes etc, care of All 4 divas, and enough room for our photographer, V for Photography, to roam around the room to gather video footage and random photos! Highly recommend you
