Bruce County Hotel

Spent the weekend over new year's and although the room was still the same, sadly the new owners have let the place go. The pool had not being cleaned and the gardens were really bad, just weeds and dead flowers everywhere. Much better when the original owners and staff were there. It's really gone down hill

Reception staff are friendly. Pool and spa are filthy (unswimmable). No mini bar or Foxtel as advertised, and the restaurants are closed so it would be no longer a 4 star hotel. The room is a bit run down too

Lawns need mowing. And weeds. Couldn't believe Carmel liked this place??
Really? Food had been made previously. Wasn't fresh. Dry. I had my own bizo-food. And worked Hospitality 20 +yrs... then they commented on my drinking?? Immature worker's.

Was very poor service, bad communication, very noisy bathroom. booked twin double beds and only got one single and one double (charged me for twin double beds) also was told i would get my $100 deposit when checked out then got told i had to wait 3-4 business day. overall not happy at all.

Had a small company retreat here. the rooms were clean, meeting room was ideal for 10, the food was spectacular and great value for money, a very well run establishment. Thanks to Rob and Hannah for there attentive service.

I made a mistake and booked 1 night more than my stay required, simple mistake, leaving Tuesday not staying Tuesday.
When booking out no refund because I booked on line through agent . Half understand but still they have my money, can’t really see the problem, but ok , let’s move on to fix the problem, for a recurring costumer and asked for a night in lieu( that they already been payed for) , for I spend 7-10 nights every 2 months !

My Mum stayed here while visiting Melbourne recently. Picked this place because it was fairly close and she loved it. She said the staff were really amazing, and we had dinner in the restaurant and it was great. Staff in the restaurant were really good. Food was also good, with a fairly good selection.

I have been here for a week to be close to the office for a training course. Day 1, I tried to iron my shirt and found the ironing board wasn't clean. The iron itself ruined my shirt. Some staff are friendly, but sadly there are also some less hospitable faces. The bed is comfortable yet the room itself is outdated, there is no wifi in the room unless you purchase it for an additional cost to the nearly $200 per night price tag. The cleaners don't seem to pay attention to what they throw out, I now cannot remove my contact lenses as they threw out my contacts case. Not impressed. Overall the best
