Ken F. Major Canvas Goods commenced operation in a backyard shed in Netherby South Australia in 1953 with Ken Major and his wife Fov the sole operators. Ken Major learnt the canvas trade over a number of years working for various organisations and in 1956 bought out the canvas goods manufacturing operations of Colton, Palmer and Preston.

Highest recommendation. They go that extra mile to help. Simply outstanding assistance with problem I had with zips on a tent. It could easily have cost me over a thousand dollars and it didn't because of the extra help they gave.
I've used them before and I'll be using them again. Their workmanship and service is absolutely first class.

Was hunting for a quick awning for our camper, these guys sell various sizes ready made and sailtrack to fit. Awesome, great quality, worked a treat for quick weekends away or overnighters, went back and got sailtrack for the back as well, so we can have awning either side when using main awning for a stay of a few night.

The guys at Sars Major went above and beyond expectations for me today. I took my ute in to have an extra panel sewn onto the canvas canopy cover, which had shrunk and two zips had malfunctioned because of this shrinkage. I’d been quoted for six hours work. It took them longer due to complications with getting the roof rack and tracks on and off. And when I collected it I discovered not only had they done a fantastic job, but they’d replaced all four zips just to be sure. Outstanding! Thanks fellas, I’m stoked :-)

We have been so impressed with the service and product quality of this South Australian Company. They made heavy duty bags specifically for our business tools following us trying two other cheap imported bags which proved to be very poor quality. We are so pleased to see you can still get a brilliant quality locally made product. They were ready on time and the staff were fantastic. Now looking at their quality Australian made swags. So you want your annex back in Adelaide to repair a tear on the bottom of the cheap plastic used on my $2.500 annex that is the price i paid for it with no screens on the doors but two screens on the two big windows I bought it with my new Goldstar caravan some 8mths ago I live in Brisbane who is paying for the freight back it wont be me why don,t you do the right thing and let me take it to a canvas maker here in Brisbane no that would be to easy the annex I have paid that sort of money for i can get one up here with the screen in the doors for cheaper poor service could not recommend when it
