Our journey started 12 years ago with Bollywood Masala Dickson which twice won the Best Indian Restaurant in the ACT Award. Since moving to Kingston, this same focussed passion led to Bollywood Masala Kingston is Award-winning restaurant Canberra won the best Indian restaurant award for 2013, in its first year of opening.

Simply the best Indian in Canberra. I feel like Bollywood Is criminally underrated. Every dish we have had has been superb. For me what puts them apart is the taste of fresh herbs and spices. There just seems to be so much complexity of flavour to the dishes and you just know they have worked hard to get each dish right.

Ignore the one star idiot review, I really don’t understand how people can be so rude and unfair in reviewing a business where everyone works so hard to deliver such good food. The food here is amazing!! The Bollywood leg of lamb was stunning, so tender and full of flavour. Portion sizes are massive, and everything we ordered tasted soooo good. Probably the best Indian I’ve had in many years. I would absolutely recommend this place, and look forward to coming back here next time I am in town. The staff are lovely as well. A+++

First time visited this place, had great time and service was really outstanding especially the lady on front desk was very friendly and welcoming.
It’s a must visit restaurant and surely coming back to this place on my next visit to Canberra.

This place is a total waste of money. Food is overpriced lacking the ingredients. Chef in this place needs to taste the food before serving to the customers.

We live really close by and buy their Vegetable Biryani once a week! It’s SO good! Portions are extremely generous for takeaway. For dine in too, the ambience is lovely, staff friendly and food delicious.

A menu filled with choices… This restaurant knows how to cook with spice.
After tandoori mushrooms we tried two of Bollywood’s house specialties, leg of lamb and their marinated barramundi. Delicious.

Really tasty but pretty pricey. It's of vegetarian options as most Indian have, only few vegan options though. The eggplant curry was great and naan was yum.

Food was flavoursome, not Pataks (paste from jar) like most other restaurants. More authentic then mass produced meals. One of the good tasting biryanis I have had in a while. Service was not bad either. Portion size could do with an increase or reduce the $$ per dish. Nice ambience.
