A 30 minute drive from Sydney Airport and 40 minutes from Sydney's CBD, the Greenacre Hotel is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and to keep it local. Our hotel has 19 recently renovated motel rooms which all feature air conditioning, bar fridge, TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
We strive to be at the heart of our local community by providing a place for friends to meet, for families to relax and to host local functions and events. We are the unofficial 'clubhouse' for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

I used the shared accommodation with friends and indeed I must commend the setting of the room. Neatness beats the alternative housing arrangement.
My only regret was my inability to extend my booking for another week and their strict check out policies.
It's location is a warm environment with proximity to most facilities needed.

Don't do it guys, rooms aren't sound proof... you can hear EVERYTHING in the other rooms. The bathroom facilities were in a horrible condition during my visit. Booked for 2 nights while in town for business, left after the first morning and asked for a refund. On the upside, the people who work there are really decent folk, and they handled my complaints with respect.

Very accommodating, very helpful. When we arrived in Sydney we'd been travelling for 24+ hours and we landed early morning, when we got to the hotel we just wanted a shower and nap so bad... The lady let us come in although we were 6 hours early, she let us use the shower and she got housekeeping to get our room ready early for us! This was so kind as we were physically drained and smelt 😂.
When we left the room, I forgot a teddy bear I had bought for a relative we were moving on to see. We left Sydney and went to Adelaide. I messaged The hotel a week after our stay and they had the bear safe

At first I was turned off by the share bathroom/ toilet, but in the end it didn't matter, all was clean and tidy, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, nice size TV, safe, bar staff were very friendly and helpful and you can't beat the value for money. Plenty of parking. It's not fancy at all but the bar felt very safe over the weekend.

Very clean and comfortable room! We stayed during a heatwave so we were extremely grateful for the air-con. Staff were helpful when we requested to stay an extra night. There seemed to be a nest of birds above our window which woke us up early some mornings but wasn’t a huge issue. Only downfall was the location as we often had to get a taxi to a train station. Otherwise great value for money.

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights as we were travelling around the country. When booking the room, was advised that there was amenities available in room (microwave, kettle, etc) only to arrive and find out no microwave available. No parking available, so we had to park in a car park that was a short distance from the hotel and carry all the luggage inside. Rooms were tiny. Beds were like foam, we sunk right down and it was uncomfortable. Bathroom facilities were pathetic at best. Showers had minimal pressure and your options were extremely hot or freezing cold. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in and saw my room. The shared bathroom for women was clean and well presented & always available. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was soft and comfy. The room had everything I needed including air conditioning. I would put it a star above IBIS Budget accomodation in presentation and it is much cheaper in price.

Stayed one night with family. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and well set out. Linen was clean and well presented. Ensuite bathroom was very grubby and shower was disgusting, slimy floor and grime in grout and corners showed it had clearly not been cleaned for some time. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work either so with no ventilation and four people using it, it was rather unpleasant. Hotel is in a good location with after hours entertainment and dining so if they cleaned the bathroom and fixed the holes punched in door panels at entry, we would return.
