Meridian Hotel

Pretty disappointed to this hotel. I have booked the hotel but due to a change of flight, I have requested to move my check in and check out date by 1 night forward. I have made the request around a month before my trip but till a week before my departure, still no response from the host. Though i can cancel the trip for free, it just put on unnecessary pressure on traveling under the cloud of COVID pandemic. Not really a worth to take the risk with this hotel.

The pho is very good, but eat in provides a better experience than takeout/delivery. Their chicken with tomato rice is also nice or their rice noodle.

I couldn’t find the restaurant to give a review at. But I was served a schnitzel and chips and it smelt like beef and I don’t eat beef. I went to talk about the food to the chef and he didn’t apologies or anything. He started yelling and said “maybe you didn’t like the food and want a refund”. I’ve been eating at this place for 7 years now. Didn’t even bother offering replacement or anything. I have never seen worse customer service ever. No wonder it isn’t popular like it used to be.

Excellent laksa. Chinese restaurant serving international food including chicken parmigiana and steak.

Waitress brought my sweet corn and chicken soup with her thumb in it.

Looks like change of management. The schnitzel and chips is only half the size it used to be. Food quality is not what it used to be unfortunately.

Cheap bistro food with an extensive Vietnamese cuisine and usual western menu (steak, chicken schnitzel etc). Pho seems to be a popular order amongst diners. Affordable pricing. Food taste okay.

Not a bad place for a vast range of fast food.
They have a lot to choose from, which is to an OK standard but what they really have going for them is the speed...forget about McDonalds this place shoots out food in the time it takes to find a table.

Me and my family always have a good experience over year with food in this place but however on my last visit the lady who was at the counter taking order ( with limited english) was rude for no apparent reason except I was mentioning food item number from the menu instead of the full item name. But luckily a gentleman (assumed chef) noticed that and stepped in and spoke something in her language to defused that situation. Hope management will pay attention to this. Thanks.

The Vietnamese food is decent. Place needs a clean for sure, as it can get quite dirty. This is most likely the only place that opens till late in Hurstville.
