Michael's Chiropractic journey began at age 13 when he received his first Chiropractic adjustment. This adjustment made quite an impression and since that time a career was set in motion. The science studied at school soon became more interesting for Michael once he realised that this held the key to becoming a Chiropractor.
Stressful lives, repetative work, processed foods, sedentary lives, no time, lack of community, reliance on medication. These lifestyle factors can and do create physiological(internal body) stress. No bodily system is spared. Your spine and Nervous system will do its best to cope but eventually it can no longer adapt.
Michael will conduct numerous Orthopaedic, Neurological and Chiropractic tests to obtain vital information about the function of your spine and nervous system. All tests are non-invasive and gentle. If Michael finds that X-rays are required in your case you will be referred to a medical radiology facility for these tests(excluding children and pregnant women).
On this, the report of findings visit we will tell you what we have found on your initial consultation, what we can do to help and how long it may take to reach your health goals. If you have had X-rays this will be the point at which Michael will view and discuss these with you. Our practice enjoys high levels of patient satisfaction because we explain everything in advance.
On an adjustment visit Michael will check your spine for signs of progress from previous Chiropractic adjustments and make further spinal corrections. Take a look in our Techniques section to find out more about the way we adjust the spine. These are gentle and specific movements to the spine and are performed differently depending on your age and type of spinal problem.
