The Queensland Podiatry Group is committed to offering you with the highest level of care and attention that is personalised to you and your health requirements. This is enhanced by their multi-disciplinary approach to your treatment and/or rehabilitation with professional relationships with other local allied health practitioners such as physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors and more.
Biomechanical assessments play an important part in the injury rehabilitation process. The Queensland Podiatry Group assess how the body function statically and dynamically both with and without footwear to see how this influences you injury and pain. It can contribute directly to your injury and when left undetected can manifest into a dyad of primary and secondary complications.
Orthotics are in-shoe devices which assist in restoring the bodies alignment and improve functionality. The Queensland Podiatry Group offer a full range of options from cost effective pre-made orthotics, semi-custom orthotics and full custom devices. They consider all facets that will influence the devices - shoes, activity, comfort, weight, age.
Reoccurring ingrown toe nails or a deformity may require nail removal. The Queensland Podiatry Group will implement all conservative options before opting for surgery. Surgery is done under local anaesthetic and will not involve stitches. Most of our clients feel instant relief and return to their normal duties within 24 hours.
Children just don't have small adult feet they are growing. Being cartilaginous and soft they are easily malleable and are susceptible to change. No child should have lower limb pain. If you see something that doesn't look right or if someone else mentions it to you have your child assessed. The Queensland Podiatry Group is experienced in children's conditions and treats many with heel pain, growing pains, in toeing and plantar warts.
