Echunga Golf Club is located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills town of Echunga, 5 minutes from Hahndorf and only 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. The course is situated on the corner of Hahndorf and Dolman Roads, and is a public course offering 18 fully watered greens and fairways. We pride ourselves on having a friendly atmosphere, strong reciprocal links within the community and well managed facilities.

Course Report

Echunga golf course is a fully watered 18 hole golf course that runs across gently undulating land. The course is a par 70 of 5458 metres for men and a par 71 of 5084 for women that offers a stern test to golfers of all abilities with a wide variety of holes. The club takes pride in ensuring the course is presented in the best possible manner at all times and welcomes members and visitors alike.

Closures Report

Whilst we aim to keep the course open to green fee players at all times outside of the Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday member competition times we occasionally have special events or large bookings which force the closure of the course for part or all of the day. Coaching Report

All coaches are accredited Community Golf instructors which includes current Working with Children Checks. Our coaches (Mike Haslett, Jamie Burt and Esther Burt) are volunteers and have many years of experience running Echunga's coaching clinics. We are able to deliver the MyGolf Schools program at your sporting school.

Echunga Golf Club offers a full range of membership options and aims to provide some of the best value membership options in South Australia. The club aims to keep membership costs at an affordable level for all whilst striving to provide the best possible course for its members within a friendly and relaxed environment.

Possibly the worst course I've played.
Absolute pond! Soaking wet and course needs to be closed. Can't believe I burnt $30 green fees.
Losing balls on the fairway because they plugged is ridiculous.
Only play this course in the summer with no rain for Atleast 3 weeks

Great course. Challenging but very playable. Fairways & greens in great nick. Very picturesque & lots of character. Haven’t played it in nearly 20 years & was worth the return trip all the way from Mawson… Lakes. Last time I played it was when I lived in Summer Town where I was cutting my teeth on course such as Hahndorf, Belair & Echunga.

What a beautiful course! Very fair prices, quite speedy greens even though they're soft. Absolutely recommend this course to all players. Good chance to see a bit wildlife around the course.
Will rise this review to 5 stars once the 18th hole is fixed up

Great little course. Bit of a hidden gem. Only 30 minutes from the tollgate. $25 for a round of golf or $20 on other days. Well maintained, picturesque. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking available. Can be a bit of a line up depending on what time you tee off

In my opinion this golf club is the best club in the adelaide hills and the club environment is the best of all the clubs I've visited and been a member of ( mannum and Murray bridge and 30 other courses)and I would highly recommend a round at this golf course for the keen and serious golfer
