Services
Sunbury Physio was established way back in 1985, the year that Essendon won the VFL premiership, minimum chips were 30 cents and most of our team members were not yet born. Since our humble beginnings Sunbury Physio has grown and evolved as organisation while remaining true to our ethos of serving the communities of Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges to "Own their Best" and achieve their maximum potential in work, life and sport.
Justine Barrow is the Director of Sunbury, Gisborne and Campaspe Physiotherapy Clinic. Her primary aim is to assist as many people as she can to "Be their Best" Selves, maximising their performance in work, life and sport. She hopes to achieve this by leading a team of professional, caring and dedicated physiotherapists who routinely "Go above and Beyond".
Our Gisborne Physiotherapy Clinic is located within the award winning Gisborne Medical Centre on 16 Brantome Street. We are proud to have providing physiotherapy to Gisborne residents for over 20 years! You will find physiotherapists Marc Di Paolo, Michelle Tanner and Chris Swinburne Consulting at this location.
Sports physiotherapists assess and manage sports injuries, but also go one step further in assisting in reducing the risk of future injury as well as working with you to maximise your performance, helping you to achieve your full sporting potential.

They do this by assessing why the injury may have occurred in the first place, giving guidance in biomechanics, collaboratively assist in determining appropriate load management for you as an individual and advise regarding improving strength and control all of which help prevent injury, minimising your time out of your chosen sport.
Physiolates is therapeutic exercise that is tailored to your specific needs and supervised by a physiotherapist. Physiolates draws from the principles of Clinical Pilates, strength & conditioning, and acute injury rehabilitation. Pilates has become increasingly popular in the community and is now offered by many gyms and fitness centres.

They can't manage reminder calls for appointments and just switch you over to telehealth when it suits them. Call to leave feedback and you are dismissed and threatened with collections. I would advise looking elsewhere for physiotherapy if you want a person centred service. The physio itself was of an acceptable standard but the business practices are substandard compared to other service providers.

Their shoulder guy Jason is awesome. Not an awkward moment the whole visit. And as much as there was obviously pain inflicted, he made it a really enjoyable experience, constant banter and laughing, it was great. Also the front desk girls did a follow up the next day to see how I was going, which is really considerate in my opinion. Overall great experience and can't wait to go back. :)

I had a bunion removed from my foot in December 2018 and Deb has helped so much with my recovery. Deb is so caring and enthusiastic, she had me up and running again in no time. All the best with your career Deb.

Started running two years ago and since have had little niggles and injuries along the way therefore have visited Sunbury Physio many times. Each time they knew where my problem lay and along with treatment and exercises I was always back running stronger. This year completed my first marathon and Justine was a huge part of my preparation. Together with treatment, advice and exercises I was able to complete all of my training and the marathon as a very strong runner. I came out the other end injury free and with a much stronger body than before I started. Thankyou so much Justine.

After being told I would have an artificial knee by the time I was 40 due to a full reco at 17 and 10 followup surgeries, I am now 48 and still going strong - all thanks to a good surgeon, Sunbury Physiotherapy Clinic and Justine Barrow in particular! Justine has helped me through a few different injuries over the last 8 or so years. Most recent being Jan 2013 when I wrecked the other knee waterskiing resulting in and ACL replacement (hamstring graft), and other significant clean-up work. Average of 12 month recovery, even for professional athletes such as AFL players. I am on track for return

I was recommended to come here from my neighbour who visited 2 years ago. I was met by a pleasent receptionist but then had a bad experience with the physiotherapist called Justine who was quite rough and very arrogant. I felt that she was not qualified and had no "bedside manner" I am extreamly dissapointed and would not recommend this clinic to anyone as they didnt care when I made a complaint!
