We invite you to bring your puppy to our Puppy Pre-school Course at Monash Veterinary Clinic. It is an enjoyable way to encourage early socialization with both other dogs and humans, introduce basic training, and help with educating both owners and puppies. Many behavioural problems seen in dogs can be due to lack of proper socialisation and training in the first critical weeks of their life.
All of veterinarians are able to assist you with preparation of your pet to travel overses. We can arrange all the requirements for exporting of pets. Many animals will need special treatments, blood tests, vaccinations and or examinations prior to export. Staff will then organise the appropriate procedure for you and an appointment will be made with one of our veterinarians.
PennHIP: Method for Early Screening for Canine Hip Dysplasia and detection of hip arthritis. Canine Hip Dysplasia (CHD) is the most common, heritable orthopaedic problem seen in dogs. It affects virtually all breeds of dogs but is especially problematic in large and giant breeds. A severe form that typically afflicts the younger animal and is usually characterised by marked pain and lameness.
It is important to keep your pet's health in check. There are many aspects to keep in mind. These include vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, diet and desexing. You also need to be aware of your pet's behaviour and hygiene which is especially important if you own a dog.

No impressed when asking for a progesterone test the price is $218 a test. This is disgusting. Most highly professional reproductive clinics will never charge more than $70. Just by this this clinic is a money hungry vet. Sandown vet clinic up the road does a fantastic Custer service. Tried calling the reproductive line at Monash about 8 times no answer just leave message and they will get back to you. I got a return call the next day about 12 hours later in regards to my voice message. What if my dog had died and no one was there to answer. Absolute disgusting. If my girl is showing signs of labour

Brilliant. Busy and on top of all the research.
This is a clinic, so you do not always see the same Vet each time, which is good and less than good sometimes. However, if you have a Vet you prefer you can ask to book with them... but not always possible if it's a time sensitive issue.
Front of house staff are gold, they are helpful, dedicated and really do their jobs well. There is a lot of experience and wisdom on that counter.
For specialised reproductive Veterinary services in Melbourne, this is the place.

Monash has propelled our breeding program forward exponentially with there expertise with our journey of imported frozen/fresh semen, TCI procedures and caesareans.
The team has not only played a huge central role in the reproduction procedures but have helped us produce many Australian and World 🌎 first’s against some very HUGE obstacles. We couldn’t have achieved this without this specialised team

After my puppy got into some grapes we were quoted $1200 by a different vet for them to watch our puppy and treat accordingly, which seemed crazy. We were referred to Monash but family and they were excellent! Half the price and Quick to get an appt and they explained everything to us that was required to get our puppy back to health. They kept him for two days and he was looked after very well, they called me with a update every day. Exceptional staff and very caring towards your pet!!

The best practice I have ever been to. I have been trying to breed my whippets for years with no luck and have just seen the lovely Aimee and Hannah for TCI. Cannot recommenced them and this practice enough! They have answered all my questions without judgment and have gone above and beyond to help out in every possible way to hopefully make this cycle a success (despite the odds). Thank you so much to the whole team at Monash Vet ❤️

Hannah, Amanda and the team at Monash Veterinary Clinic did a great job at helping us with our severely sick dog.
It means so much to owners when vets recognise your best friend, but when everyone in the clinic recognises them you feel especially safe and welcomed.
Sadly, our journey with Artie ended prematurely but throughout his short existence, Monash Vet Clinic were there for us and we couldn't be happier with their service. We even got phone calls to check up on him, which is something we've never experienced with another vet.
Artie was happy to see everyone in the clinic each time we went
