Dr Phil Jacobs studied at the University of Queensland and graduated in Bachelor of Dental Sciences in 1994. He commenced his career as a Senior Dentist with Queensland Health and NSW Health before working in private practice on the Gold Coast, practising initially in the Northern Gold Coast area and later on the Isle of Capri.

I’ve been coming here for the pass year now as my Dentis is In Sydney and with what’s going on I’m very happy with how things are going here for me.especially how helpful Sam is,she is my go to for any questions and she would advise me the best and honest way to go about it can not thank her enough thanks again sam. Dr Jacob is amazing as well very honest and professional in what he does. Overall nice,friendly,great atmosphere,good price,pain free, and they will do what ever they can for you :)

My regular dentist recently retired and a search for a local dentist lead me to Dr Phillip Jacobs at Hope Island dental. My previous dentist was wonderful and I am happy to report the Phillip is next level wonderful. I have had a standard clean and some work done on two fillings and felt completely at ease during both. He is thorough, gentle and efficient in his approach. The team of staff who work alongside Phillip are welcoming and kind. I can highly recommend this practice.

As a new resident of the Gold Coast my search for a dentist was sourced on Google reviews, i was most pleased to have my very best dentist experience today with Dr. Philip Jacobs and his team at Hope Island Dental Care.
The up to the minute equipment and the gentle and caring approach from all the team was extraordinary. My very thorough teeth clean today by a qualified dentist, in lieu of a dental hygienist, I believe was superior. My appointment was not rushed and a really good background check was done during my consultation. A beautiful suite/practice to have my treatment. Highly recommended

Wow I am really blown away by so many positive points I noticed when visiting Dr Phillip's dental practice for the first time today. From the friendly receptionists, to the modern and beautiful clinic (the view to the marina is stunning!) to the professional, down to earth and friendly manner of Dr Phillip. I was also impressed that there was also no pain in the treatment too. The whole setting is really beautiful and really put me at ease, plus there was no waiting time! (which I've never experienced when going to a dentist!). I would highly recommend Dr Phillip and his staff. Thanks once again

From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by the beautiful receptionist you feel so welcome and the surgery feels very different to your typical dentist. Dr Philip is so professional and he is one of the best dentists I have ever had. I now actually enjoy going to the dentist for the first time in my entire life. I couldn't recommend him enough !!!!

Dr Philip Jacobs at Hope Island Dental Care is truly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and talented. I feel blessed that I managed to find him.
He always takes time to explain every procedure. I like how he uses the dye to highlight areas of plaque and how he informs you at every stage of a clean & polish what and where he is working on.
In my opinion he is the best dentist on the Gold Coast.

I’m usually scared of dentists and had put off a clean for many years. I have to say this was by far the least painful experience I have ever had a dentist. The staff, from Sam at reception right through to Dr Phillip was fantastic. All the dental staff, Tenile, were so friendly and put me at ease. I have finally found my new regular dentist

Just had my first appointment with the team and Dr Jacobs last week and feeling really great about continuing to see them for my dentistry needs! As someone whose never had to have any dental work done - til now - I feel really comfortable with them there and entrusting their expertise.
The clinic was super clean and love the beautiful view from the rooms! And Melissa was so nice and sweet as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone else!

Move to Hope Island a while ago so asked friends for a good dentist. Phil’s name came up often so Hope Island Dental Care was my pick. Easy on line booking service. Phil met me on arrival and knew who I was. Wow :) Normally don’t get that for a new customer. Very impressed!
Very clean and tidy clinic. Phil and his assistance professional and friendly. When in for a check up and told all was good. No up selling of teeth whiting or cosmetic services some try on. Just good old dental care and advice. Booked for my next check already.
