Often the young ones are forgotten when it comes to dental care, however, it's crucial to begin early, to develop good dental hygiene habits. As soon as the baby teeth come out, it is important to start introducing dental hygiene. Due to their developing dexterity, children should be supervised for oral hygiene until of 8 years old or until you are confident that good techniques are employed on a daily basis.
All fillings that we use at Luminous Dental are amalgam & mercury free. We offer porcelain & composite resin restorations that are tooth colored & can be color matched to the color of your natural teeth. This creates an aesthetically pleasing & seamless result. Bridges are used to restore a single or multiple tooth loss.
Dr Michael Chang has a special interest in Dental Implants & he has reinforced his knowledge & skills by obtaining a Masters in Clinical Implant Dentistry. They are essentially "screws" that are constructed from titanium alloy, & are placed at the site of tooth loss into the jawbone. Over time, this integrates with the jawbone & forms a permanent foundation for tooth replacements.
