In the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials there are now more than 12,000 clinical trials of acupuncture listed, with around 2,000 new studies being added every year. Here is a summary of the current research evidence, based on National Health and Medical Research Council Level 1 evidence (systematic reviews) and a small number of good quality Level 2 studies (randomised controlled trials).

I have had treatments with Sally Charles for over ten years. I have been to other leading acupuncturists but I have not had the results that I have with Sally. It's not just my personal experience. I refer many clients to Sally and I have not had one person who has not been grateful for her professionalism and caring nature. She is always travelling to conferences overseas to stay informed on the latest research and she is frequently invited to lecture at high level seminars. You could not find a more knowledgable or attentive practitioner for acupuncture and Chinese herbs.

There is very little - if anything! - that I would not ask Sally to treat. Over 20 years, she has helped me to process energetic and physical things. In one session, a lot of what I come in with is addressed and fixed! Throughout the years, Sally's helped me with pain, hormonal, reproductive, muscular and other physical complaints. Under her tender care, I have also experienced incredible relief from the side effects of medical treatments. I cannot rave enough about Sally - her professionalism, care and integrity. She is well-worth consulting and I only hope that she helps you as she has me.

Sally Charles is quite simply the most experienced and knowledgeable practitioner in the Eastern suburbs. Not only is she skilled in Acupuncture having taught in some of the major teaching institutions of Sydney and run clinics around the world, she also has a Masters in Chinese Herbs and updates her working knowledge with periodic trips to China. Why am I writing this ? Because after 25 years of treatment, I confidently recommend her services.
