Engage 1 On 1
Engage 1on1 consists of a team of clinical and general psychologists providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. At some point in our lives we all experience stress, grief and loss, relationship issues and other life challenges. Seeking counsel from a professional Psychologist can assist in navigating challenges to see issues through a different lens.

Engage 1on1 Psychologists collaborate in teams for specific client age groups. Our client intake team are sufficiently skilled to connect you with the appropriate Psychologist for your life challenges. We see GP referred clients, Paediatrician referred clients, and private clients, for counselling and intervention therapy.
Services
Engage 1on1 psychology services include a range of counselling and therapy techniques. Our Psychologists combine appropriate elements of each technique to provide an individualised service. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a structured therapy that helps people recognise and change unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving.
Our Psychology Team is very experienced across a range of age cohorts and various presentations. In respect of early intervention, or child psychologists work with the underlying causes of children's mental health issues and use a holistic approach to include working with parents and other support structures to deliver effective outcomes in social and emotional development.
Engage 1on1 Psychologists provide professional services within over 40 Primary and Secondary Schools located throughout metropolitan Melbourne, at no cost to school or families, supported through the use of GP Mental Health Care Plans.

School-based psychologists use evidence based 'cognitive behaviour therapy, and a collaborative and holistic approach with families and well-being coordinators and teachers to support young people to develop ongoing emotional resilience, improve self-confidence and adopt a positive approach to engaging with life.Children spend significant periods of their days within educational environments.

Dr Zahra had a lack of empathy which upset me quite a lot. It took me years to finally get through the process of reaching out for psychology services. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

I never even managed to see the psychologist I was booked into on two separate occasions as the admin staff here seem to be pretty incompetent. The first time they didn't let me know that the psychologist was running quite late so I waited and waited and then left as I was so upset. The second time they apparently changed my appointment without telling me so I turned up an no-one was there. Not going back, even though the psychologist I spoke with via email seemed lovely.
