John and Helen have been in the motel or hospitality industry for 13 years. Previously running a motel in North Queensland. We really enjoy meeting people and helping them to explore the Lismore region. We love to travel ourselves both throughout Australia and overseas, so we are always on the lookout for ways to improve our guests experience.
We provide a microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge along with crockery and cutlery for you to to be able to self-cater. Wi-fi is available for your convenience. All our rooms are non-smoking, however, there is a patio area where you may smoke along with table and chairs outside your room where you can relax and enjoy our lovely gardens.
We are conveniently located on the corner of Lismore's city heart, and are only a short distance from the University, Hospitals and from the city's many bar's, restaurant's, galleries and shopping centres. Didn't stay! Phoned to ask if they were open during Covid lockdown, mentioning that I was going to book on Booking.com. The guy who answered the phone, immediately jumped on me for that - pointedly asking me why I would do that!? I said because I use them, he then stated that they were an overseas company, and abruptly said "go for it" and hung up. How rude and obnoxious. I could have easily booked through him if he hadn't been on his high horse. We were seeking accomodation because of needing to go to hospital, thanks for making it a little more stressful.

When we arrived the fridge in the room would not only not shut but was broken with water all over the floor. When we told reception he said he would try and fix it while we were out but it didn’t even look like he visited the room.
The person in the room next to me had a dog that they didn’t chain up outside and was continuously barking at anything it saw.
Very run down old motel, would NOT recommend.
