Romantic hinterland hideaway and for couples. Tallaringa Views has 2 self contained cottages set on 65 acres, each offering privacy and luxury in the Byron Bay Hinterland area of Northern NSW. Set on a ridge to catch the cool summer breezes, each cottage has glorious views over native bird attracting gardens and valleys to the Nightcap Range.
In winter, curl up beside the wood fire. In summer relax in a hammock on the deck and enjoy the cool breezes. Anytime, soak in the spa in your private courtyard. Hike to the creek and see the native rainforest regeneration that we have been doing over the last 15 years. We even have a resident platypus in the creek.

The 2 private and stylish contemporary cottages are separated from each other by trees for complete privacy. Each cottage has high ceilings, a living/dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and decks. You don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the views. From your tranquil haven you can listen to the birds, look at the moon, have breakfast on the deck or go and explore the beautiful villages and national parks close by.
The Big Scrub was the largest area of subtropical rainforest in eastern Australia. It was dominated by the Red Cedar which was eagerly sought by the early cedar getters for its fine quality timber. It covered much of what is now Byron Bay and Lismore in the northern rivers area of NSW and was estimated to cover 900 sq kilometres.
I Highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway amid natural surroundings. The fireplace, spa, and warm friendly hosts only made it more perfect. My partner and I stayed for two nights and were overwhelmed by how relaxed and fresh the cottage made us feel- authentic yet modern.
Cancellation: Full deposit will be refunded if 30 days notice is given. No refund will be given for cancellation made less than 30 prior to arrival unless the cottage is re-booked by another guest. All payments are made securely online via PayPal. However, if you would prefer to pay by direct deposit, please send us an email and include your preferred dates.

Secluded and serene, the bush setting ensures total privacy whilst offering stunning views.
The cabins are beautifully styled and give that sense of luxury one seeks on a getaway!
Perfect spot for a chilled weekend with a loved one.
The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, and keep the property beautiful.

I doubt the integrity of these 5 star reviews.
I booked 2 nights away for my parents, as a gift.
Starts with customer service. My parents rang to say we are here, as noone was there to greet them, and woman said oh i had to take my daughter to doctor i left key in the door. Its fine your daughter had to go to doctor, my mum & dad were very understanding about that, however noone came later to greet them or anything there was zero contact.
My poor mum who is not well, noticed a smell and looked around and noticed mould throughout cabin . Once that was noticed well they then noticed other things

Relaxing. Peaceful. Private.
Perfect romantic getaway. The cottages are located amongst nature with a gorgeous view from the private balcony. They were very clean and all features are modern and fresh. Especially loved the outdoor spa.
Elizabeth (the owner) was lovely and so accomodating. Offered a late check out at no cost.
Definitely worth visiting.
