We recently celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at Bobby McGees!! Everything from the look and feel of the venue, to the food, bar and drinks, audio-visual facility and service was outstanding! Our guests… were very pleased with the overall experience and needless to say, the party was a great hit! Thank you Bobby McGee's for creating such beautiful lifetime memories for us!!

The atmosphere with the colors and then ask and it is like a various colors update smiling employees makes no difference how old or stubborn or pious. I say in 20-30 min anxiety fades and a much more relaxed customer who will return if not just because the selection of colours along with whimsy touches the child their end.

We had our wedding reception at Bobby McGee’s last weekend and it was honestly the best night of our lives! The event space is perfect if you want something unique and not typically “wedding-y”, we couldn’t be… happier. The event manager was an absolute dream to have looking after us, and went out of her way to accommodate everything we wanted and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. I wish we could experience the whole thing again!

It's company Christmas celebration. First time experience is the last time. Never ever want to go back this old funky place, floor plan design with stairs everywhere up and down, slow and bad table service, rude manager, terrible food, could not enjoy at all. Same price we could go to 5 star hotels in Melbourne CBD . Extremely disappointed! Will not recommend this place to business.

We were here for a workplace function and the place was packed. They had nailed down the Caribbean theme perfectly in terms of the decor. The layout is funky and nice but considering nobody was on the dance floor I felt it was a waste of prime real estate. The dumpling station was a massive hit serving some of the best vegetarian dumplings I have had.

Attended an event on a Sunday night ... It stunk like vomit as soon as we walked in and I was one of the first people in the building.. bar manager was doing shots with people attending and was clearly drunk ... felt and looked dirty and musty hadn't been cleaned for ages ... I attended an even in 2015 same venue and it was amazing .. such a shame as the venue set out is amazing ..

No matter what I write here, no matter how well I describe it, nothing will ever EVER prepare you for Bobby McGee's.
Bobby's used to be a club back in the 90's, but now operates simply as a function and event space. I was lucky enough to attend a function here and I won't be forgetting it in a hurry.
The venue is set up as a small but very bright town of a bygone era with a sunken dance-floor in the centre. Around the outside area are different 'stalls with each 'stall' acting as a different bar including; a Beach bar, a diner, an automotive repair joint and
