Hendrik's hands-on experience working for a large commercial caterer in Europe and high-end restaurants and function venues in Melbourne gave him some unique insights into corporate hospitality.Hotels and other multi-purpose spaces are often crowded, chaotic and not business-friendly. Hendrik was keen to disrupt the status quo.

Moved to a different room without any notice or advance warning (turned up to find someone else in our room) from a room booked 12 months in advance and confirmed by email 2 days before. This treatment from their staff is at best "inconsiderate", at worst "unprofessional". Dull lighting in room, poor ventilation (room stuffy), one ladies toilet broken. Venue rated as "old and tired" by participants from 12 companies on the course we ran.

We held a technical conference here for 3 days earlier this month for approx 80 people, across 5 rooms plus a computer lab. The venue was great and the staff were awesome, they were SO helpful and incredibly quick to assist with all our requirements
