The whole evening the girls were drunk and talked about their boyfriends and husbands. They told different stories about their relationships and in the end of the party they tried to tell the story about the worse relations. Some girls felt nervous and upset. The atmosphere was terrible and some girls began to destroy the decorations and furniture.
The stories continued and they become worse and worse. In the result this bachelorette game damaged the party and the mood of guests and bride. Many girls left the party and the bride was nervous. She was drunk and did not have a desire to do anything. I do not know the consequences, but I think that the wedding ceremony was ruined.

Very nice atmosphere, and the price is good value compared to restuarants of similar standard.
Their menus rotate, but would reccommend the clam chowder and pork belly with the apple sauce.
Smart casual vibe, with a bit of vintage decor. Good for a weekend nightout with friends or a weeknight date. Haven't tried the bar down stairs, but it looks fun.

Every experience we've had here has been phenomenal. My parter and I recently got married, and we brought our parents here for dinner after having been a few times for drinks or meals... The Chef's choice banquet was delicious and perfect for a group of 8 who can't quite decide what they want. Service was fast and efficient and we all left very full and very much looking forward to coming back.

Fantastic place, upmarket look without the attitude, amazing cocktails, small menu but every dish I tried was exquisite, especially the Mackerel Tartare which was just right, awesome fish to use in a tartare. If you love good quality food, luxe settings and absolutely top of the line cocktails this is the place for you. If you like a Cosmo, try their Nieuw Cosmo an excellent tweak to the original... Upstairs is the dining area, relaxed and quiet, downstairs the bar which can be quite loud and noisy. You can also expect very attentive service here, I will be back....

The best customer service I have ever received in my life. Had my water refilled every 5 minutes, and waiters constantly checking on us. What a lovely hidden jem. The decor is lovely, slightly upscale place, dimmly lit but still a great place for a group just wanting a good meal. The food is worth the money you pay for it. Had the chocolate mousse for dessert and I can guarantee I will remember it and crave it for many years to come.

Simple and good food. I've been there with my wife for a dinner. We had a "chef's menu" which consists of two different menus (entrée + main + dessert) for sharing. For main, we had lamb ribs and pork, they were really well done. We paid 55$/person for the chefs menu. They also have a good wine selection, and the staff is very friendly.

My favourite hidden restaurant in Melbourne!
Tasty food (though the portion sizes can be a bit lacking), a good range of wine and the hard stuff, reasonably priced.
Love the exclusivity of it - the venue proves to be a surprise even for Melbournians that have lived in the city all their life.

For prices of the meals they charge, you expect either an okay large passable steak that really fills you up like the type you would get at your local, or a really nice small gourmet meal that you know a lot of extra care went into when preparing. We had the pork belly and 2 x ribs, were on the smaller side but not overly delicious. Could easily get a meal triple the size that tastes just as good at pub around the corner.
