DayHab Addiction Treatment Centre Gold Coast
The World Health Organisation defines addiction as a chronic relapsing condition. Our treatment philosophy recognises that addiction is a multi-faceted illness affecting the individual's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. To achieve sustainable positive change each of these aspects require addressing.

We offer both outpatient and residential services to cater for various client needs. The program is intensive, and clients are required to partake in all aspects of treatment. Aftercare support is provided on an ongoing basis and individual, couples and family addiction counselling is available upon request.

Our interactions with the team at Dayhab have been honest, authentic and open. Justin, Terri and Sheree and Sheryl to name but a few members of the team have been really helpful and communicative throughout our son's stay. His first attempt wasn't successful but they gave him another go, and his second attempt has been successful thus far. They work with some complex clients, and we are so grateful they gave him the opportunity. The only downside was that there was no follow up as they promised. That would have been helpful to maintain the new habits and practices learnt.

I worked for them as a cleaner for one whole year and they never paid me a cent...
I call, "send an invoice.", I send invoices, nothing... I rock up asking for my pay and get rudely thrown out. Struggling with corona but that means nothing to them. A terrible place.

Absolutely disgusting place. The medical negligence is beyond a joke. They are currently experiencing a covid outbreak with several patients and staff all positive. They claim to sanitise bathrooms and areas but nothing is done. They haven’t even got a professional company in to sanitise the residential housing parts. They don’t tell staff that have to come to work that there is an outbreak they just let them show up to work. They are also telling new intakes that there are no beds at the moment instead of telling them the truth that there is an outbreak. Absolutely digusting human beings.

I have recently finished 6 weeks at dayhab and have to say I write this with mixed emotions. The support staff at this facility are absolutely fantastic and really have everyone's best interests at heart and have inspired me to pursue a career in drug and alcohol counselling. Bridget, Gemma, Ben, drew and Kathy are all amazing. Mick the owner is also a great inspiration and I believe has everyone's best interests at heart however the current manager Terri made the stay very bitter at times. She lies to recovering clients does not have their best interests at heart and I believe us running this

For over 20 years, I had been a slave to my addiction. I was in a very dark place for a very long time, I didn’t have any direction and felt hopeless and alone. I didn’t know where to turn to, but I opened up to a mate and he suggested DayHab. When I arrived, I was greeted with such friendly and supportive people. I was scared at first but I took the plunge and went through one of the programs that was offered to me. It wasn’t easy at first but after completing it- with the help of the friendly, professional and dedicated support team at Dayhab, my life has completely transformed! I’ve

In 2015, I completed the 28 day program at DayHab and least to say, it was amazing. It has completely changed my life and steered me away from addictions and bad habits. The staff at Dayhab were fantastic in providing me with continued support and patience during this time. Currently, I am still clean thanks to this program.

I am so grateful that I took the path of Dayhab to help me in my recovery. I completed the 28 Day Program, and without a doubt is the best thing that I could have done.
The staff are welcoming and warming, and able to reach out and help me start to get to the answers I was looking for (within me). So easy to relate to, and talk to, and knowledgeable. They are all amazing.
The program I ran through really helped me to begin the journey of my recovery, and offered me the support, tools, and insight fit for my learning process and speed. And while I am still learning, I am also still sober, and

I went in to DayHab knowing that I needed to make a drastic change to my circumstances, I just wasn't sure what it was.
Over the 28 days that I stayed there the benefits that I had gained were phenomenal. Not only did I learn a lot more about myself on a deeper level, the relationships that I thought would never get better completely changed and improved.
Looking past the benefits of the addiction and recovery aspect of the program, the life lessons that I took away as well as the knowledge and techniques that I learnt to better myself I still apply today.
The whole team there are absolutely

I highly recommend dayhab for anyone seeking help from alcoholism or addiction. I completed the 90 day residential program several years ago and since then my life has drastically improved. I felt welcomed and found the staff caring and professional. Dayhab’s program is fantastic, I learnt so much about myself and was given tools to better cope with life. I am extremely grateful to Dayhab and everyone that works there as it literally saved my life.

I have been associated first hand with Dayhab for number of years now & can personally vouch for the integrity of this facility. I reccomended the Dayhab program to a friend who was suffering from Drug Addiction & Alcoholism , the Dayhab program changed his life. 10 Years later he is still clean & sober living a fullfilled and happy life. Recovery is tough and requires a lot of effort however the longterm seeds of recovery are sown in the early days, Dayhab have a program that works. If you, a friend or loved one has a problem I can definitely reccommend you contact Dayhab and talk to them about
