We are a professional, skilled and friendly team of highly trained orthodontists and dental nurses with orthodontic clinics in Caroline Springs, Bundoora and Mernda. Offering a variety of advanced orthodontic treatments, we help children, teens and adults achieve the highest quality results using the most efficient and effective technique for each patient.
From braces to Invisalign to retainers, we have treatments available for children, teens and adults with a wide range of orthodontic problems. Unfortunately, due to the current lockdown restrictions in Victoria, we must follow DHHS protocols and close our practice until September the 2nd. Patients will receive calls to advise them of rescheduling of appointments, or to check in and see if anything urgent needs to be attended to.
We use a state-of-the-art self-litigating method to hold the wire in place for all of our bracket systems. This allows us to move your teeth a little faster, prolongs the lifespan and durability of the wires and means we no longer use coloured bands which trap food and require more frequent appointments.
Traditional braces are still one of the most effective treatment options to straighten teeth. When you think of orthodontic treatment, one of the first things that usually comes to mind is traditional metal braces that look a little like "train tracks". Conventional braces are made up of individual brackets and an arch-wire.
At iSmile Orthodontics, we provide a range of different treatment options including ceramic "clear" braces. This is a suitable option for patients who would like to straighten their teeth discreetly but are not candidates for Invisalign. Although ceramic braces function in the same way as traditional braces, they are a more discreet form of treatment as brackets are made from a ceramic or porcelain material.
