It is the annual migration of humpback whales from Antarctica to Queensland that makes Sydney such a great spot from which to take a whale watching tour.

Each year, from May to November, thousands of whales make the trip, a journey that brings them right past the city as they head to warmer waters off the coast of Queensland. Services
We believe in responsible and respectful whale watching practices. As a smaller company we have a strong focus upon customer service from the point of booking to the time we say goodbye after your tour. Our skippers adhere to whale watching industry best practice guidelines and because we watch whales and dolphins year round we have gained a very good understanding of these animals.
We operate whale watching tours during the Humpback Whale annual migration. They are travelling north during the months of mid May, June, July. August is a month where some whales are heading north and some have started back south. September, October through to mid November they are coming south. Any time during this period is good for whale watching.
We are very privileged in Australia when it comes to whales, approximately 50% of all the world's whales and dolphins are found in Australian waters. With at least 45 species of whales and dolphins living in or visiting Australian waters. However, it is the annual Humpback whale migration that gives us the best opportunity to observe these magnificent mammals and their whale surface behaviours.
A Gift Card is the perfect gift for the 'hard to buy for' person. Our Gift Cards are valid for three years from the date of purchase and can be booked online or by phone. They are redeemable for any of our tour offerings. However most people choose to use their Gift Card on our whale watching tours.
Bubbles is a 23.5 meters modern, fast, powered catamaran. She was built by Gold Coast Ships in 2013 for use as a whale watching and snorkelling vessel in the Great Barrier Reef. She is in AMSA 1C Survey for 100 people and carries all required safety equipment. We purchased her in early 2020 to add to our whale watching business.

If you want to see whales this is the boat to choose, the skipper is brilliant at positioning the boat so you get the best vantage point of the whales without having to stare into the sun or feeling like you are harassing these fabulous mammals. It was lovely to go out on a boat where you feel the crew really care about the ocean and its' whales

Always amazing to go whale watching with these guys! We must have gone 10+ times already and we keep coming back. So nice to keep seeing different behaviour of the whales. The boat is comfortable, however the audio system could use an upgrade

I really enjoyed the trip and the crew was awesome! We watched whales for at least one hour and they gave us additional information about them. In the end they offered us cake, tea and coffee. All in all it was a great experience. Definetly would do it again!

First time experience and a great one no doubt! Professional and friendly staff with eager enthusiasm and that extra attentiveness for their customers during the boat ride.
As I happily watched the whales breach playfully, half the people behind were puking and dead on the inside, so be warned as the boat rocks quite violently. Shoutout to that granny who vomited as she was whale watching! haha
10/10 boat staff and definitely worth every buck! Free professional photos of that whale watch are even uploaded afterwards, will definitely recommend :)

I enjoyed my experience with Go Whale Watching Sydney and I would go out with them again. We saw whales and so many breaches and jumps. Staff great they give great information over PA, and they care too expressing the need for some caution and to not chase the whales and be on top of them.

Decided to do this literally a few hours before and it was well worth it! As soon as we came out of the harbour the humpback whales were right there. Three of them came right up to the boat below me and were literally less than a metre away from me. It was simply breathtaking to see how big and curious these creatures are. You will definitely not regret going on this! It’s a smaller boat too so more opportunities to see the whales up close compared to the bigger boats. Highly recommend these guys!

I've been on 3 whale watching tours with these guys so far and will always happily come back for another one! Staff is lovely and very knowledgeable, the vessels aren't huge so it feels very personal and relaxed and I love how patient and caring the crew is with the whales and other sea life. Great job guys, I can highly recommend you!

I had a great morning with go whale watching. The boat is big enough for everyone to find a good spot and staff helped directing people toward free spots. The live commentary on the whales was great; it was informative and helped with making good pictures. At no moment I felt we were bothering the whales.

I booked this for our family of 4 to go whale watching in July 2018.
As it turned out, on that day the waters were a bit rough and we were cautioned about being sea sick. The wife and kids got nervous and backed out. I went alone.
It was an Amazing experience! We saw over 6-7 whales. They are such beautiful creatures.
The skipper of the vessel kept giving us a running commentary about various aspects about the whales, which was really cool.
When we returned back to the harbour I called them at the office and told them about how the wife and kids had backed off and asked whether we could do

Friendly crew very respectfull of the whales. They were able to approach the whales (tons of !!) quietly and so the whales were not affraid. When some other boat were sailing hard toward them making them fled.
Take your sick pills as adviced and everything should be ok.
However it is sad to be with some disrespectful tourist who were pushing to take your place to see the whales, whether it has place for everyone. I would recommend the more private offer they provide for this reason.
