Berry Medical Centre was established by Dr Neil Donovan 1995. What started out as a solo rural general practice, has now grown significantly to meet the demands of a growing Berry township. The rural background of our Doctors and Nurses allows us to meet a broad range of problems and where possible, deal with them at the surgery.

We have a dedicated Treatment Room for emergencies. Each of doctors has special interest areas, from acute care, palliative care, skin cancer work and adolescent health. However, our goal is that you will find a doctor, who will become "Your GP". We strive to provide every patient with the very best of general practice care.

Our practice provides a comprehensive range of services. We are a rural practice and that entails doing our best to provide emergency care and management of chronic diseases. As a general practice we would like to help manage your health conditions and work towards good health outcomes. With the training and experience of our doctors and expertise of our nurses we feel we can deal with a wide range of conditions.

Appointments Report

Appointments can be made via telephone on 4464 1577. Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm, and the practice is closed between 12:30pm and 1:30pm. As we are a busy practice, it would be appreciated that you cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment so we can allocate the appointment time to another patient.

Medical information by law is required to be encrypted to be secure, this is not an encrypted service. We cannot respond to requests that include personal medical information.

Managed to book a booster shot here whilst on holidays. The staff were exceptional, friendly and efficient. My husband accompanied me and was offered a booster shot as well despite not having booked in. Very grateful for the welcoming atmosphere.

I saw my regular doctor today - Dr Ingrid Buchner - and received the same level of good high quality caring service I always receive. I also used the pathology service and was impressed as it was quick, easy and painless and at my usual place it takes ages to find a vein and involves numerous attempts and some pain.
