Brain & Language Connections (BLC) is a Speech Pathology private practice passionate about helping children, adolescents and young adults (from ages 9 to 21 years) reach their full potential. We have extensive experience in providing quality services to help speech, language, social communication, reading, writing, auditory processing, attention, and memory difficulties.

We are committed to using the most up-to-date tools for the purpose of assessment, and offer therapy and intensive programs where results are achieved through identifying and treating the underlying causes of your child's behaviour, rather than only treating the symptoms. Rebates and discounts available.
Services
At Brain & Language Connections we use an extensive range of the most up-to-date assessment tools to thoroughly evaluate your child's strengths and weaknesses. Our assessments determine the root cause of your child's behaviours, rather than only identifying the symptoms. It is through this type of assessment process, that therapy can be specifically designed to address the underlying core weaknesses.
At Brain & Language Connections, we aim to deliver the latest, most effective therapy programs. Individual sessions are available both during and after school and are offered for the duration of 50 minutes. During a typical therapy session, your child will be engaged in activities that address the goals identified in the assessment.
The chronic disease management (CDM) Medicare items are part of a government initiative that assists people living with a chronic and/or complex medical illness. Medicare rebates are available for treatment from allied health professionals who are assisting in managing the illness.

Clients have complex care needs if they need ongoing care from a multidisciplinary team consisting of their GP and at least two other health care providers, one of which may be a speech pathologist. The GP will prepare a GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangements and make the referral to the speech pathologist.
