Great Talking Speech Pathology was established to provide evidence-based and effective Speech Pathology assessment and intervention to children and their families. Our philosophy is that speech, language and communication needs are best addressed and supported in the child's naturally occurring environments, hence all support is provided in the child's home or education setting.
Services
All sessions are provided through home visits or visits to the child's kindergarten, childcare centre or school (provided the parent(s)/carer(s) attend). Telephone consultation is provided at the time of booking to gather some background information to help tailor the first session.
From this initial assessment, feedback is provided to parent(s)/carer(s) about the child's current communication strengths and weaknesses, and a plan is discussed and agreed on what will happen next.Following assessment, a report is always provided to detail results of testing, advice and recommendations.

Rachael has been practising as a Speech Pathologist since 1997, across a wide range of clinical settings and client groups, in both Australia and the UK, including community health, kindergartens, childcare centres, schools, hospitals and nursing homes.
In 2006, Rachael further fuelled her special interest for training others in how to support children with speech, language and communication needs by becoming a lecturer to Speech and Language Therapy students at a UK university.
