For pets staying longer than four days, they must be treated with a systemic Flea, and preferably Tick, treatment before or on arrival, e.g. Frontline, Revolution, Comfortis etc. This is for the protection of your pet and other boarding pets. Our staff are experienced in giving a variety of medications to both dogs and cats.
From basic medication to heart medication, we are more than happy to accommodate your pet's needs. For your convenience we are open to receive our guests seven days a week and our normal operating hours are listed below. However whilst we operate and board pets 365 days a year, we are closed for admittance and departure of pets on days listed below, i.e. your pets would need to be admitted prior to or after those dates.

We have been boarding our working dog at Fido & Felix for over 5 years and have always received a warm professional welcome from David and his staff. David looks after our dog like he was his own and remembers every dog/cat, client and any needs no matter how long it's been between stays. I can always trust our pup is in good hands and will continue to use Fido & Felix for all of out kennelling needs.

lately I dropped of my two dogs for two weeks at Fido and Felix at Gumdale. first impression wasn't the best. After waiting to reunite with my dogs they were excited to see me but what I didn't like was the staff said "they have been cleaned" but really they were covered in mud and smelt horrible

We have been taken our dogs to Fido & Felix about twice a year for nearly 5 years now and cannot be happier with the care. We have two staffies that can be needy and they always get excited to arrive. Kimberley is wonderful and David makes sure everything runs well. Thank you for caring for our dogs so we can go on holiday knowing our dogs are in good hands.

We had two dogs that used to stay quite regularly over a few years with Dave at Fido & Felix and I cannot recommend Dave and the crew high enough. Our dogs absolutely loved staying there and always looked forward to seeing Dave. Fido & Felix looks after your animals so well I would not go anywhere else. Do yourself a favour and call Dave first. Unfortunately we lost our 2 dogs now but if we ever get anymore doggies we would thoroughly take them to Dave.

Dave the owner and one of his young staff Kimberly are absolutely awesome people and give their heart and soul to each and every animal that has the pleasure of Boarding at these kennels.

This place is great! My 14 year old cat spent the night at the cattery. He has developed a form of seizures and is on medication twice a day to manage them. David put my mind at rest and took the time to understand my needs and the needs of my fury family member. David is welcoming, friendly and very kind. David and his team treated our cat like a king. Thank you. :)

We have been taking our animals to Dave for about 18 years. Our animals love it. We have a giant schnauzer, two small dogs and a cat. They get all the care they need and more. Dave is a friendly and jovial character and is extremely knowledgeable, especially with big dogs. We have found him easy to contact and he always returns our calls. Dave is always at the property day and night to take care of our animals, we know because we live nearby. I would recommend him to anyone.

We have been sending our pets to David at Fido & Felix for over 10 years. We had a very highly strung rescue greyhound and they always took such good care of him. They got in special food for him and I can't imagine any other place being so caring. Our pets are always well looked after and David is a lovely guy and I've always found them responsive. Highly recommended.
