Northside Rentals

Incredibly poor & rude service.
I was involved in a severe car crash with a driver of one of Northside Rentals cars, which was no fault of mine. I have been trying to contact Langli who is the damage manager here for over a week to source a Claim Number for the insurance, I finally managed to get Langli on the phone and was met by a completely rude, aggressive and unprofessional person. I was not given the information I requested nor any idea of a timeframe or a process on how I would receive it. Total incompetence on how to treat people.

Very unprofessional. At least make sure there is someone in the reception desk. To find my name in your record at least ensure your receptionist is there to meet customer and pick their phone calls.

Looks like a good rate but then they sting you with a 30% "COVID" surcharge! My private vehicle servicing and parts have not changed but they say theirs have because of Covid. Daylight robbery in my opinion. The vehicle they gave me also had aircon and radio that only worked intermittently.

Lovely and helpful staff however they advertise for $90/day and then nickel and dime you to death for everything you need so it's more like $150/day which is the average price for a 3T but there is no dolly or straps or anything included so not really as cheap as they sound - we wanted to support Australian business though instead of one of the big multinational corporations so we will use them again only we will be more prepared

Exceptionally bad customer service with multiple mistakes re: cards charged.
Staff were incompetent and worse they didn't listen when I tried explaining THEIR mistakes.
Recommend to their management they actually TRAIN THEIR STAFF on basic customer service!!! Won't ever use again and will happily pay extra with another company for basic customer service.

No probs here. Gr8 value. Car was good and suited our purpose, very economical. Friendly staff. Bond returned promptly after vehicle return

After returning the hire car last month I still haven't received my $500 bond back which l was told by them would take 5 to 10 business days. I recently had to cancel my bank card but by then it's already been over 15 business days...apparently they lost my contract after l returned the vehicle and each time l called for an update (3×) they said it's being investigated.

I ordered a vehicle but the delivery time kept getting delayed. So I hired one from Northside Rentals, price very cheap, so flexible with times and extending the vehicle. Highly recommend!!

Hired a Q70s and could not fault the vehicle!
But the customer service I could!!
Very rude and unprofessional staff!!
When extending vehicle hire was put on hold for up to 20 mins on different occassions extended the hire for at least 4 weeks and no long term discount was given.
Not enough staff in bookings, booked vehicle for 10am pickup to leave the yard at 11:30,
Returned the vehicle without the key tag as the ring got hooked in my trouser pocket and couldnt retrieve without damage, $10 charge for that even though I just spent over $2200 to hire their vehicle and returned 2 days early!
