Your naturopath is a skilled health practitioner who holds a degree in Health Science Naturopathy and Diplomas in Herbal Medicine and Nutrition. Josie is trained to assess relevant aspects of your medical history, diet, lifestyle and general health to determine why you have come to experience your current symptoms.
VITA offers a range of massage services from relaxation massage to deep tissue massage as well as pregnancy massage safe for Mum and Bub. Massage stimulates blood and lymph flow, promoting circulation of oxygen and nutrients and drainage of lymphatic wastes. It reduces muscle tension and joint pressure, increases joint mobility and flexibility, reduces stress and anxiety and can provide sheer relaxation!
Our naturopaths use a very traditional style of naturopathic practice. Your initial consultation will include iridology and tongue and nail diagnosis to assist with your overall health assessment. Where indicated zinc tally and blood pressure measurement may also be taken.
Other tests including blood tests, vitamin and mineral screens, hair mineral analysis, coeliac and candida testing, hormonal assessments, heavy metal toxicity, liver and stoole analysis may be conducted where indicated.Definition: observation of the iris (coloured portion of the eye) by means of a magnifier to note various colours or health markers.

I have suffered from hormonal imbalances for many years - facial flushing, skin breakouts, irregular periods - and found out 12 months ago that this was all due to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). After recommendation from a friend, I went to see Josie at Vita Natural Health, hoping she could help with some of my concerns.

Josie is the epitome of what a health care professional should be. Her knowledge in her field is exceptional and the care she takes for her patients is incomparable. She is a consummate professional yet incredibly personable and determined to well being of her patients. I was fortunate enough to stumble across Josie about 6 years ago and she has been amazing on every visit. I have referred many friends and colleagues to Josie and all of them have been absolutely delighted with her and the results of her treatment. I have been seeing Josie for a while now after getting nowhere with GP's and can not speak highly enough of her caring nature and attention to detail. I referred my mother who had also been having chronic health problems and I am happy to recommend her to anyone who wants a more involved approach to their health care. She works very hard for her clients and goes beyond expectations for a health care professional. She recommends herbs, tests and other products with mindful attention to the cost and overall benefit, which has been a great help as chronic illness has left me with a limited capacity

After an in depth consultation she encouraged me to change my diet and suggested some of her herbal formulas . Within a couple of months of taking it I felt totally different .
My health has improved immensely, I have energy again and I am getting my life back on track , my moods have lifted and gained my confidence.

I have been consulting with Josie for approximately 8 years, in particular on acute rash outbreaks and various other health issues. My outbreaks had been long terms issues - 20 years or more. I had previously consulted with many specialists and exhausted all kinds of tests. The only thing they prescribed was steroids and steroid creams. How toxic!!!!
Tried Traditional Chinese Medicine for months which to my surprise, did nothing!
