I am giving 1 star as Google will not let me give 0. David Bombara at Acton Coogee was beyond awful. He charged me for a video that was just moving photos, and his commission rate was off the charts. I was naive and did not know to bargain down the commission rates, just thought people would be honest and open, especially in today's market, but that was not the case. He put minimum effort into selling my house, and charged the maximum fee. I would not recommend David or Acton to anyone.

David Pickering's local market knowledge was impeccable as was his performance whilst handling the sale and then the consequent settlement of my home. His negotiation skills were excellent and nearly on par with mine :). He achieved the price I was after and at all times communicated both in a timely and transparent manner. I’ve been dealing with David Pickering for several years now. He recently sold a property for me and he's always very professional, always updating me with information on how many came through the home and feedback. We recently purchased a property in Subiaco sold by Shane. His work along with that of Megan and the rest of the team at Acton, was nothing short of exceptional. Their professionalism and attention to detail was first class. Dealing with Acton Central was a great experience from start to finish. I originally met the whole team who were all very professional and determined to work towards a successful sale which they accomplished in a hard market.

Full marks to Simon Bird and Shane Garrett who worked together to produce a great result in selling our investment property. Both are intelligent, professional and ethical in their approach. I found them always patient and cheerful. They were clear and articulate in their communications.

Very unhappy with my first property manager Makere Hammond, who was difficult to get in touch with throughout the time she managed my property and made an agreement with my tenants without my approval to leave at the end of their lease without cleaning and with extensive damage done that would have been noticeable in prior rent inspections.
She also took no record of the original keys provided so we couldn't be sure the correct keys were provided at the end.

Whilst under their care as an actual customer, I received relatively good service. However, after the address I rented from them was taken over by another company, and 5 weeks after finalizing any accounts with them, I received a very terse 1 line advice that I was 34 days in arrears of rent, and a breach notice issued for termination, and an amount of $2075 was immediately owed. They still had the account on the premises open, even though they no longer held the account, and no further monies were to be collected. Very bad accounting and double checking by staff leads me to advise not to use this
