The Mega Swim School is open Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5pm and on Friday's from 7:30am to 1pm. Mega Swim's 30 minute programs are designed and written by Meg Amauchi to introduce you and your child to the wonders of the water in a safe, interactive, nurturing environment. Children are classed into their motoring development age groups and consideration is taken on previous experience and skill level.

Meg has been assessing children, parents and teachers for over 20 years, so you are in safe hands. Mega Swim runs in conjunction with the NSW public school system, term dates change each year but generally a term is around 10 weeks.

Services
All the baby and toddler classes are small groups, so you are assured to be updated and facilitated each week. Skills and activities are designed to educate, build confidence for both parent and child as well as stimulate positive reactions. The emphasis of this program is safety and survival. This is a nurturing time with lots of reassurance given with sound knowledge to back it up.
Our teacher has now turned from a baby toddler teacher to a swimming instructor. Our care givers are no longer in the water with us. Make sure your teacher is experienced, certified and patient. Learn to swim is pre-schoolers or sometimes school age children still learning their survival skills. This is the first class without the parent/caregiver in the water.
The Mega Swim School was established by Meg Amauchi in Bondi in 1998. Throughout its reign in Bondi the Mega Swim School won numerous nominations and awards for outstanding achievements in the swim and education industries. After the huge success of Mega Swim School in Bondi, Meg decided to return home to Byron Bay to be near family and friends.
Mega Swim receive many testimonies from happy families and will continue to post here as they become available. Tallulah now 26mths old, has been swimming with Meg since she was 10mths old and loves every minute. Last week she fell into our pool, before we got to her she had turned around under water and grabbed for the side of the pool as she came up.
The Mega Swim School is an indoor heated Ozone pool that provides health benefits for the skin, hair, eyes and nervous system. The water is clean and heated to a warm 32 - 34 degrees. The facility is naturally lit and well ventilated for an enjoyable experience. We are open all year round so your child gets the optimum results due to ongoing swim lessons in the winter months.
