The Morrison Hotel first opened its doors across the road as Hotel Britannia. Once that pub went up in flames, the Morrison you know today was built. Fiasco's Steakhouse has been serving up the best steaks in Brisbane for longer than we can remember! With a selection of 8 different cuts, a dry aged option and a delicious chef suggested premium steak that changes regularly. Ask our staff about our Famous Mushroom Sauce and Twice Baked House Potato.
If it's a drink you're after, we pride ourselves on the range of local and imported suppliers we have available. Circa 27 Whisky & Cocktail Bar consists of over 200 whiskies and 32 cocktails, ask our team what they recommend for you to try. Whether you're catching up for an after work drink, settling in for a delicious meal or getting ready for a big night, we have everything you need.
A range of corporate seating styles are available, such as Theatre, Boardroom and U-Shape. Also complimentary upon request: Projector & Screen, Whiteboard & Cables for PC/MAC compatibility to our TV. The Patio is located on the side of the hotel and has a garden inspired feel to it, and has full access to the main Lounge Bar.
The Gaming Room is located in The Lounge Bar and features five gaming machines including a Lightning Link, a Keno terminal and also the new touch UBET terminal. Perfect to stop in and place a bet before heading to The Gabba to watch the game. And our selection of over 250 whiskies, 22 beers on tap, we are the place to be.
We strive to be at the heart of our local community by providing a place for friends to meet, for families to relax and to host local functions and events. We are the unofficial 'clubhouse' for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

Huge portions. some more healthy vegetarian options would be nice that have more taste. did not get any salads as they seemed over priced. the steamed vegies for a side was pretty plain but the potato was nice. better to buy more exy steak than the cheapest one as we found out. bit of disparity with when meals was coming out but overall and
enjoyable experience and great to cater for larger groups as we had pretty much the whole roon private to ourselves :) the staff are all very friendly and pleasant to deal with 😊

I am giving a 4 because I cannot fault the great service and drinks. Michael who looked after us was lovely and the drinks where nice. My only issue was that my medium rare steak was rather well done burnt and dry. I only ate it because I was hungry and did not want to wait longer for another one. I would go back for the cocktails and Michael with the nice eyes and good service.

ABSOLUTLY the BEST SERVICE around!
My mate has MANY issues with what he eats and has many demands on the cooks & Staff. The chef here on the 1st of June 2021 did very well indeed along with the waiting staff as my mate had no complaints on the night...

He was up from Adelaide for business so I took him to the Morrison.
Always worth the cost when the service and grub is just so good.

Busy for a Monday night. Steak chips and salad good, can't really muck that up. Chicken artichoke risotto was dry, allegedly because it's made with white wine. My white wine risotto comes out creamy, must be making it wrong. Honey baked brie was tasty. My meal was good, beer cold, plus a flutter on Keno makes it all good.
