He was awarded his Bachelor of Science (med), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of NSW in 2000.

His attention to his patients is of the highest care I've ever experienced. From accepting and replying to late night and weekend calls and texts, when we had any concerns or questions , to the weekend morning check up visits at Greenslopes Hospital, really confirms Sam's first consideration is to his patients.
All procedures he explained so well, that I never had any fear going into theatre for a complicated Forehead Flap surgery . Results from surgery were amazing, confirming Sam Yang's fantastic skills in reconstruction

Once I had decided to go ahead with breast reduction surgery, I met with Dr Yang. His friendly, personable and professional manner put me at ease immediately and I trusted that he would give me the result that I wanted.

I was ecstatic with the care and service I received from Dr Yang and his entire team. He was very open and honest right from the get go and always provided very realistic and informative advice. I visited several times before going ahead with my procedure and was never made to feel a nuisance, but rather supported and reassured. The reception ladies and nurse provided the same professionalism and care. If I need any procedures in the future I will return to Dr Yang and would completely recommend.

I located Dr Yang through a friend who told me to listen to his podcast's. I listened and they were very informative and even without meeting him I automatically felt comfortable with his detailed information, I made an appointment, met with Dr Samuel Yang and discussed a procedure that was suitable for me. Breast Reconstruction Surgery after my Double Mastectomy (5 years ago). Dr Samuel Yang and his team provide 5 star service! I got breast reduction surgery in March 2020 going from a H cup to a D cup, Dr Yang is very professional but also takes into consideration your comfort and how you’re feeling. Dr Yang is very thorough, made sure he answered all my questions, ensured he didn’t put any pressure on me in regards to the surgery and ran through the different methods of the procedure and explained why he was chose the particular method he uses. After that he ran through that procedure many times to ensure I was comfortable and understood what would be happening
