Plastic Surgery Queensland was established by Dr. Brendan Louie, Dr. Theo Birch and Dr. Andrew Hadj to provide comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgical care for all suitable patients. Each patient will receive honest and expert advice regarding their ongoing care; from reconstructive and trauma to cosmetic surgical procedures. At PSQ, our team of surgeons, nurses and support staff will guide and support you from consultation to surgery as well as your care in the post-operative period.

Dr Theo Birch is a fully qualified plastic surgeon and fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He holds a Bachelor of Science (biomed), Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland. Theo has trained both locally and abroad to cultivate a wide range of surgical skills and knowledge aimed at providing his patients the best possible outcome.
As skin cancer specialists, we treat common malignant skin lesions with a focus on melanoma surgery. These along with all other skin lesions can be treated both in hospital and on-site in our procedure room. We offer treatment for a wide range of hand and wrist surgical conditions, including trauma, tendon injuries, nerve injuries, Dupuytren's disease, carpal tunnel syndrome and many other conditions.

I went to Dr Theo Birch for skin removal surgery after losing 55+kg. He made me feel so comfortable and explained everything in a way that I was completely happy with.
I am currently 11 weeks post op tummy tuck, breast lift and arms.
I was surprised by how well everything turned out. I had a little wound breakdown on my lower tummy but that has since healed.
My breasts are absolutely perfect, and I am so happy with the post op care.
Thank you so much, will definitely be coming back next year for my thigh (reduction/lift-whatever it’s called lol). I look forward to having Dr Theo Birch continue

I couldn't be happier with the skill, professionalism and 'bedside manner' of Dr Brendan Louie. A very skilled hand that has meant a minor (but very visible) face lesion is gone and the remaining scar is barely visible - a vast improvement on what was there before... Dr Brendan was amazing from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with the result and approach that he recommended. Great surgeon and a great person - highly recommend.

I recently had a cosmetic injectables appointment with Jade. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. I’m so delighted with Dr Theo Birch and his talented assistant Jade Chapman. Not only is there incredible skill and expertise but I was also bowled over by the empathy. Medicine is both science and art; this practice combines both. I’ve felt so well looked after and can relax about surgery and follow up as Dr Birch is not only an outstanding surgeon but a compassionate and caring doctor. Do not hesitate to attend this practice.

A very professional practice with lovely staff who made me feel welcome and at ease despite all my questions and worries about my planned surgery.
