Services
Annual Health Exams are necessary for all dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds to thoroughly assess the health of your pet and obtain advice on the best way of preventing disease. We discuss the importance of good nutrition, dental care, parasite surveillance or prevention and vaccinations. We also assess weight problems and can discuss any behaviour issues you may have.
Throughout my veterinary career I have always strived to provide the best possible medicine for the animals in my care. Although I worked hard to achieve this goal, I have always felt something was missing. Something lacking. This feeling nagged at me daily until I had 'a moment of clarity' from the unlikeliest of places.
Do you need a emergency vet after hours? If your pet requires urgent veterinary care outside of our business hours, please call the Animal Emergency Centre (AEC) in Frankston on 03 9770 5555. The AEC is located at 31 McMahons Road, Frankston (opposite Bunnings) and are open 24 hours a day. Vets and nurses are always on duty, allowing your pet to be treated when our clinic is closed.

Took my 1 year old GSD in for his vaccination and check up. Great utilisation of the back yard area for a dog that is less than comfortable in that setting.
Consultation was with Helen who had a high level of understanding, advice and professional knowledge in regards to working dogs.
Great service in all regards, would highly recommend especially for dogs uneasy in a vet setting.

I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. I have been to many vets over my pups 15 years and I will not go anywhere else after a friend referred me to Benton's Road. My 15 year old soul dog has recently been diagnosed with cancer & Dr Kelly Halls was exactly who I needed during this difficult time. She spent quite some time looking into his blood work after the appointment & emailed me a detailed letter explaining what his bloods showed, foods I can add to his diet, which supplements to continue and what else to add. I trust her wholeheartedly with my boy and am so thankful to have found her

We had a great experience working with Kelly from Bentons Road Vet. After 18 months of issues with our Golden Retriever's Diet, we have finally been able to place him on a diet that works well for him. She was very thorough and detailed in her report. Would recommend for any pet owners that want to get to the bottom of any dietary or allergy related issues. The support and care was fantastic!

Sadly, we had to have our very sick, 14 year old mini schnauzer euthanased, last week. Even with the difficulties of the Covid19 restrictions, Dr. Sophie made the time to chat with us before the procedure and was so very kind. We were able to have our dear Zak beside us, on the back seat of our car, when Dr. Sophie administered the permanent… anaesthetic, from a distance. Zak put his little head on his paws and went to sleep so peacefully. Today we picked up his ashes and were very touched to find included with his ashes an imprint of his paw and a tiny glass vial with a small piece of his

I've been with BVC for a few years now. Every time I walk through the door both myself and my pet are greeted with smiles. The vets here go far and beyond whats needed and I always feel heard and respected.

Disappointed. After taking my cat there numerous times, the last few times have been unpleasant and am left feeling frustrated because the vets make me feel like it’s an inconvenience to them, for me being there, even when I have made an appointment well in advance. Recently it was for more of the same medication to be ordered however when bringing… the vet Dr Kelly up to speed with the treatment and conversations I’ve held with other vets, I was made to feel like my information was wrong because it was not the same as the notes on their system. Moving on I attended to pick up

I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone with a pet. I had visited on the weekend and saw Emily she was very extremely helpful in an knowlgable in such a stressful time. I had to return a few days later with an emergency situation and when I spoke with Lisa she was so very accommodating in fitting me right away. I came straight in and walked right into the consultation room where I was greeted with 2 lovely vets Sophie and Natasha. Thanks you for organising the referral. My dog is now on the road to recovery
