Services
In our rural environment, we have a close-knit community therefore, the service takes on the role of an extended family. The group, made up of children aged from two to school age, allows family members to be together in a warm and homely setting. This enables children, families and educators to develop a trusting and caring relationship, whereby children feel safe and grow in self-esteem and confidence.
We understand and appreciate the importance of early childhood years and play as a learning experience for children to acquire and master new skills. Children are able to participate in the program in a way that encourages them to explore their environment and have a say in their learning. This allows our team of educators to identify the interests, needs, strengths and emerging skills of each child entrusted into our care.
We encourage parents to visit the service, to meet the educators and to have a look around to get the feel of the care environment. If there are no places available, you are welcome to place your child on the Waiting List. Please complete the Enrolment Form, attach an up to date Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register and return it to the service as soon as possible.

If you want your child to have a good head start for school then you can't go past the structured learning with fun that the skilled staff at cobbers provided to my son. My son started Kindy a year younger than the other kids but he has and still is leaps and bounds ahead.i credit this to the skills and knowledge he obtained at Cobbers. Year 3 and he is still going strong.

As we are moving away from mullumbimby we took our son to an iterview at his new school to start kindergarten he answered every question right colors ,counting, math, shapes, he even told the principal what a hexagon was the principal nearly fell out of his chair and said he had never had a pre kinder child answer that question thank you Tim, sharon and team u created a proud dad moment . I highly recommend this center to any one who wants to see there child well prepared for school thank you cobbers
